2 Contracts - Same Home Resort/Same Use Year

Just purchased a second resale contract with the same home resort and same use year.
How will these show online on the membership information? How are the points listed when booking a reservation?

On the dashboard they will just show combined into one point total. When you go to make a reservation you will choose the order in which you want the contracts used.

Okay thanks. First contract was purchased before the resale restrictions on booking at Riviera. So if i try to book a Riviera reservation i will select between the two contracts.?

I'm not certain as to how that will show up. I'm guessing it will just show the one contract to pull points from once you select Riviera.

That is my understanding as well. Only the contract with points eligible to book Riviera will show as an option.

Note that to assure having the contracts combined into one member number, it is important to make sure the deeds provide for the same exact owner(s) with the same name(s).

Assuming that is your case, then the new resale contract, if you go online to make a reservation, will not be shown as one you can use for a Riviera reservation, while it will be shown as usable for any reservation at other DVC resorts.

Only the contract eligible to book RIV will show up.

There's a screen before booking that asks which contract you want to take points from.
