Hey, what happened to our motto...What's one more day!

I know!!! Aw man... I have some time this afternoon... I may just have to look at it. That being said - what would your advice be... which park, rent a car to drive over... can I do much with a day or do I need more? Would love to see IOA and teh WWofHP. The kids would love it!

Okay - so I'm playing off of the clue "first full length feature animation" which I think was Snow White... and if so, it was the Evil Queen. But then again... if it wasn't Snow White, then I'm wrong... so I'm going with the Evil Queen from Snow White...

I just finalized plans with a private car service (this driver has a surburban and comes highly recommended on the DIS) to take us to and from RPR at USO to DHS the day before we actually check in at Disney. I like being able to set times for pick ups and not have to worry about waiting around for a taxi service, dealing with parking, and dealing with driving in an area that I don't know how things work. I think he runs around $50-75 for round trip between WDW and USO/IOA. I have all my transportation arranged through him, which comes out to be 3 round trips and 1 1-way for $250.

I think if you got to USO/IOA before rope drop that you should be able to take in most of the MAIN attractions in both park. The key is getting into HP ahead of the sleepers and get out, then come back and experience it dusk/dark! I am not sure what kind of thrill riders that your children are or how tall...crossing my fingers that my 2 oldest will finally ride things. There are great things at both parks...and things that you can skip. Our main focus is HP.

Amy - if you must choose, do IOA and make WWOHP (specifically Olivanders) your first stop. We went last September and were able to see and do everything we wanted to do at both parks in 1.5 days on 2-day/2-park passes. With only 1 day, you'll need to hit certain things:

Flights...the never ending saga! I had hoped to book flights by the end of this week (testing that 3 1/2 months theory about the cheapest time to by), but I am seeing a lot of people getting cheaper flights (on SW at least) right now at 3 months out...so should I wait a couple more weeks?!

I have pretty much decided to go ahead and add a day, which in the end will save me money because it is cheaper to fly on Saturday than on Friday...so help me decided a flight time. Here are my options for Saturday

1. SW Flight departs at 7:45 am...6 hr/50 min flight...2 stops/1 plane change...dread having to get up at around 4:00 am to make magicial express
Total cost $1045

2. SW Flight departs at 9:25 am...7 hr flight...1 stop/1 plane change...most expensive flight...don't have to get up so early
Total Cost $1237

3. Amer Flight departs at 5:55 pm...6 hr flight...1 stop/1 plane change...cheapest flight, but have to add baggage fees...do I dare push dh into almost another full day? Then there would be the cost of meals for the day and possibly a park day.
Total Cost $1007 plus baggage (probably $50-$75)


What do you think ...seriously I am down to these 3 flights and could use some opinions!

I would go with A or B option. You all are having a very long trip and you'd hate for your husband to snap
What times do A and B have you landing at your home airport? I really like getting home fairly early after a trip so I have several hours to unpack, check mail, and get situated. I hate coming in from a flight and going right to bed.

I would choose one of the Southwest flights too because you can always get a credit if the fare goes down.

I would love to stay an extra day so I would consider that but if I had to choose between the other two flights I would go with option B because I wouldn't want to get up early for the other flight. Plus you only have 1 stop and 1 plane change.
