Little Red Riding Hood

I started to say Snow White again... but cartoon caught my eye... so I googled. GuIlTy! ;) I'm going with The Three Little Pigs as being the first fairy tale cartoon in 1933.... it was a short cartoon that arrived during the midst of the Great Depression... (googled... :thumbsup2)

Little Red Riding Hood?

The answer is Little Red Riding Hood! It was released in 1922. Way to go Dream and Laurie! Points to both!:woohoo:

I would go with A or B option. You all are having a very long trip and you'd hate for your husband to snap:scared1:
What times do A and B have you landing at your home airport? I really like getting home fairly early after a trip so I have several hours to unpack, check mail, and get situated. I hate coming in from a flight and going right to bed.

I would choose one of the Southwest flights too because you can always get a credit if the fare goes down.

I would love to stay an extra day so I would consider that but if I had to choose between the other two flights I would go with option B because I wouldn't want to get up early for the other flight. Plus you only have 1 stop and 1 plane change.

I keep going back and forth between 1 & 2...I like 2, but not for $200 is the sleep worth that much. I hate waiting for SW to drop...everyone else seems to have drops in prices, so maybe my drop will come around October 4th...which will be the 3 month mark). I also am not sure about the credit thing with SW...we do not fly a lot and when I do fly it is with school and I don't have to pay...so will I use the credit in the end?

Surely, with enough credit, you can find SOMEWHERE to fly...
Harlingen to visit Padre. Dallas for a special weekend. Etc.

Does SW credit ever expire? I know rapid rewards did, but now they don't!

Treasure Island, 1950... Young Jim Hawkins is caught up with the pirate Long John Silver in search of the buried treasure of the buccaneer Captain Flint, in this adaptation of the classic novel by Robert Louis Stevenson. (I'm shooting for points, here... :rotfl:)

They expire 1 year from the date the original ticket was issued. So, for example, if you bought the ticket today, then the price goes down on Oct 3, your credits would expire 9/14/2012.

A Disney food blog? More reading for my trip if I ever catch up with the 70+ pages on everything you need to know about going to WDW in December.

I did it...I walked off the plank today and went ahead and booked our return flight! So which option did I go for? I picked #1...the EARLY flight on SW. Yes, that means that we have to leave on ME around 5:00 am. :scared1: I am hoping that I can check bags the night before at POP and just have what we need in the room for the next day. I do not see a lot of making ourselves pretty for the flight happening!

But the good news is I get to add Friday to our trip, move some of my ADRS so that we do not have to leave parks for dinner...and I get to see POP! :cheer2:

First of all, we need to get home and I would like to do it so that I have time on Saturday to get things done. Flight #3 was $200 more than the first flight (which would defeat the purpose of staying an extra day), #3 no time to get things done on Saturday...the only other choice I had for a flight in the price range I am willing to spend was almost 11 hours for trip time (4 hour layover in Denver...which I could drive over 1/2 the way home in that time frame...plus the hour flight and I would be close to home...I hate the thought of traveling 11 hours! Looking back at all the SW flights prior to my departure date (clear back into October) the flight is still the cheapest...

Congrats on the airfare booked!! That's one less thing to worry about!!! I thought of you today when I saw my friends fb status that said 101 days til Christmas!!!

Thursday's Question:
In Tarzan, during the campground scene, 2 characters from another Disney Full Length Animated Feature can be seen on the table. Who are they?

Congrats on the flights! 5am isn't so bad, I'm not sure if you can check your bags the night before at POP but that would be great if you can. I'm so excited for you, your trip is coming up so fast!

As for trivia, the answer is Mrs Potts and Chip from Beauty and the Beast. Of course I had to look that one up though, it's on our movie list and I'm making note to look out for them when we watch it. Are you guys doing this movie?

You will not believe this...

So I was happy, booked the return flights...flights are set, right...WRONG. I got a call from Expedia tonight that United has cancelled my departing flight on Christmas Day. The only option they are giving me is to rebook at same price for a flight that gets in Christmas night at 11:05 pm...YES PM...we were arriving at 3:30 pm. Otherwise, they will cancel and refund my money and I can select another flight (I have 72 hours to decide). So I look up my other flight options...guess what they are each close to double the fare that I paid for the tickets that I currently have...I paid $184 for each and now they are $314 a ticket. :scared1: So then I go to Southwest and look at my options...all getting in Christmas night after 8:30 pm. I really do not want to spend all of Christmas day in airports! So now I am thinking what happens if I do a Dallas or Denver flight Christmas Eve (mind you this is difficult, because I really feel like we should be in mass Christmas Eve) and then fly out to Orlando early Christmas morning....prices are around what I paid for the United tickets that are being cancelled if I don't take their offer. My next step was to check kayak and see what would happen to costs on Christmas Eve flying straight to Orlando...they are lower than staying a night in Dallas or Denver. So, now I have to think about adding a day to RPR and how much that will cost!:headache: Top it all off Jeff left Wednesday for his fishing trip in Cabo San Lucus, Mexico so I can't call him and have him help make the decision (like he would anyway).

Would God understand if I don't go to mass on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day? Maybe I could count the Candlelight processional on Decemeber 30th? Or maybe we would do something Christmas spiritual wise in our hotel room...the kids love the Nativity Story and we could do a happy birthday Jesus cupcake, watch midnight mass (if tv gets EWTN) on tv.

oh, I'm so sorry!!! I was so happy for you that you finally got all the flight stuff ironed out and then this goes and happens. ugh!
And then your mother-in-law wont be too happy if ya'll can't spend time with them on Christmas Eve, right?
I would almost think it would be best to take the flight they offered you that gets you into Orlando really late because doesn't that mean it leaves later on Christmas Day also? You'd be able to sleep in later and do your Christmas stuff and also Christmas Eve Mass and all that.
