Did TP and EasyWDW agree on everything? Or were there some big differences?
There we a few details I found reading EasyWDW that touring plans had not taken into account. One big one was Epcot on Jan. 6...it is the BEST park for Epcot on that day according to TP, but when you read easywdw you find that there is a big pre marathon dinner that night "Pasta loading" that will interfer with my family wanting to have a quiet evening for illumnations and an ADR in the same area as the dinner. Just little things...I ended up swapping MK and Epcot our last 2 full days...although both sites tell me not to goto MK on Jan 5 because of EMH in the morning...but we are just going to have to deal with it.
I can relate to your son! I'm very petite and even as an adult there have been some rides at amusement parks that I either was not permitted to ride by myself or at all. One in particular that I loved was the Conestoga Wagon years ago at Hershey Park. I went to take my son on it and they wouldn't let us. We needed another adult who was tall enough to ride it with us, grrrrrrr. DH hated that ride and would have to go on with us. He was so glad when they took that out of the park. I think it might have been cedar point that wouldn't let me ride a ride due to height restrictions. Hopefully, your son will find another attraction or something else equally as fun to enjoy!
Actually his problem is not being petite...it is be a dare devil at soon to be age of 5. Now my daughter on the other hand is 14 and the doctor predicts she will be under 5 foot...right now she is 4 ft 10 in...my MIL is 4 ft 8 in and I am not too tall either 5 ft 2 in...we joke that she will have to taking her driving test in a booster seat...according to state law she should still be in one!
