Peter Pan
Growing up and still to this day when I watch it I have a girl hood crush on Peter Pan! I don't know if it's his need to saved lost people or his carefree ways, but he has always been my favorite hero/prince charming/ leading man of all the movies. (Followed by Robin Hood.)
Plus Tinker bell is my favorite character of all time. My Junior homecoming dress was even modeled to look like hers. She's just all fire and sass like me. (BTW I got my hair cut pixie style today for my birthday, and it is fabulous!)

Little Know Facts:
~*~The Lost Boys are boys who fell out of their baby carriages. According to Peter, girls are too smart to fall out.
~*~The name Pan comes from the Greek nature god Pan, who loved music and played on pipes.
~*~The term Peter Pan is in the dictionary. It is defined as a boyish or immature man.
~*~In the Disney movie, the melody for The Second Star to the Right was originally written for "Alice in Wonderland."
~*~Tinkerbell was voiced by Margaret Kerry. She is now a retired elementary school teacher and being model for Tinkerbell in the movie Peter Pan is the only thing she ever did for Disney.
~*~Tinker Bell is misspelled quite often as just one word "Tinkerbell" but in the film, Captain Hook refers to her as "Miss Bell" therefore suggesting that her name is two words, a first and last name.
~*~101 Dalmatians and Peter Pan (Wendy) are the only two Disney cartoon features with both parents that are present and dont die throughout the movie.
~*~This was the final Disney film in which all nine members of the Nine Old Men worked together on it as directing animators

~*~Although Walt Disney's Peter Pan wasn't released until 1953, Walt Disney had been trying to buy the right's to the original book by James M. Barrie since 1935.
~*~Wendy was voiced by Katharine Beaumont, who had previously voiced Alice in Alice in Wonderland, and Screen star Hans Conried was cast in the double role of George Darling and Captain Hook, which is a nod to the original play in which the same actor played both roles.
~*~Disney's version of Peter Pan was the first time that a male actor had ever played Peter on screen.
Movie Mistakes!!

(There we're a ton! I just shared the biggest!)
~*~In the duel at Skull Rock, after Peter leads Captain Hook onto thin air, Hook drops his sword and scrambles to grab hold of the cliff again. But when we see Hook's reaction to the approaching crocodile, you can see his sword back in its sheath.
~*~As Peter Pan flies up to get his hat back from Captain hook in Skull Rock, he stops in midair and has a shadow, and then the picture changes to Wendy, who then says, 'whew' and then it changes back to Peter and he doesn't have a shadow.
~*~In the mermaid scene, Wendy lands on a rock barely large enough to stand on. A few moments later, when she's being splashed by the mermaids, the rock has expanded to about four times its original size, and a seashell has miraculously appeared on it. AND After the mermaids splash Wendy with a ton of water, her hair is wet and you can tell because it is sort of hanging down and drooping. Then they cut away, then when they cut back to Wendy, her hair is perfectly dry. AND After the mermaids splash Wendy, she raises a seashell threateningly above her head and says "If you dare come near me again.". Her mouth doesn't move at all.

This poor scene!!!
~*~ At the end of the film when the "Lost Boys" man the capstan there are four bars on the capstan, however only three boys man the bars, but as the bar turns with the boys pushing it there is no empty bar.
~*~When the boys and Wendy are tied up on the ship, you can see Wendy is with them. In the next two shots when you see them Wendy has disappeared, but in the next shot she's there again.
~*~In the beginning of the movie, when John and Michael are fighting, John has a red bandana tied around his head. When they all rush over to Nana the bandana is gone. Right after that, when he is in bed the bandana is back on him and his mother takes it off.
~*~In the scene where the crocodile attacks Hook at Skull Rock, there is a shot where the croc bites Hook's right foot and the shoe comes off, leaving Hook's right foot bare. In the shot with Hook wrapped around the croc's snout, the shoe is back on Hook's right foot and his left foot is bare.
Peter Quotes:
~*~Peter Pan: Fly, of course (As if we all know how to do that!)
~*~Peter Pan: I say, Captain, do you hear something?
~*~Peter Pan: What a pity, Mr Smee. I'm afraid we've lost the dear Captain.
~*~Peter Pan: Mr. Crocodile, do you like codfish?
~*~Peter Pan: Well, I'm certainly proud of you... you blockheads!
~*~Peter Pan: Girls talk too much!
Hidden Mickeys!!!!
~*~Back of Captain Hook's chair "throne" while he is warming his feet in a tub of water: Mickey's head is carved into the top middle of the chair!!
~*~In Peter Pan, the Lost Boys tree has knotholes that they can dive into. There is one big knothole, and two smaller ones forming the mouse's ears.
~*~When they are on the ship, sort of at the end of the movie, and when Michael puts a canon ball in his teddy bear, there are 3 canon balls setting next to him, that form a Mickey.
~*~When Captain Hook gives Peter Pan the present after capturing The Lost Boys, Wendy and her brothers, Peter pan opens the present. To spot the hidden Mickey, which is black in colour, pause immediately when the bomb explodes after the grey smoke start to come out of the present. There will be a quite big hidden Mickey head in black on the bottom right of the T.V. screen. It happens when he opens the present at 6 o'clock.
~*~At the very end of Peter Pan as the last scene pans away from the house the trees in front of the house in the lower right hand corner make a hidden Mickey. You can clearly see the ears and head in the trees.
