I called yesterday morning to get the discount for my reservation YC Nov 4-11 and my Mom's YC Nov 5-10. When it came up for my mom's the CM says "It worked?!?!?" clearly shocked.
I tried again this morning for my reservation, CM was not optimistic from the get go. "Yeah, that has been a very limited discount but I am happy to check." I was not disappointed, it didn't work. I guess I have 109 days to get used to the idea of paying rack rate.
At the end of the day I am glad my parents got the discount ($382 before tax!), they wouldn't have stayed in a deluxe if it wasn't my first choice.
