Hi Im Going To Make This Short And Sweet, This Is My Very First Trip Report As A Disney World Lover Of Almost 20 Years And A Huge Fan Of This Site For Over A Year Having Read Countless Trip Reports From Others I Finally Decided This Is As Good A Time As Any To Compose My Own.

Back Story: I Have Been To Disney World Over 10 Times Since 1988 Which Was My First Trip With Family I Fell In Love With The Place Right Away. Though I Did Not Return Till 1994 When I Was A Yound Lad Of 15 (old Man Now 28 !!!!) Since Then I Have Been Back Many Times Which I Will List Right Now.....

As You Can See I Love Walt Disney World With A Passion , To Me Its The Most Magical Place And Everytime I Go It's Like I Am Their For The Very First Time. So Now That I Provided A Little Back Story Lets Get To The Point. Because Of Job Reasons I Moved Down To Florida In April After Living Pretty Much All My Life In New Jersey. So I Came Up With The Idea Of One Last Road Trip With My Brother Down To The World. Having Not Been To Disney With My Brother Since 2002 He Was More Than Happy To Join Me ( With Blessing From His G/f ) Wimp !!! Just Kidding. So We Packed Up My 2006 Honda Element With The Few Important Things I Own ( Flat Screen Hdtv, Xbox360, ) You Know The Important Stuff.. And We Began Our Almost 1200 Mile Trip From The Garden State To My New Home And Perhaps The Last Disney Vacation With My Brother.......

PART TW0:

BEFORE I BEGIN PART TWO I REALLY SHOULD GO AHEAD AND GIVE ALL THE ESSENTIAL INFO ABOUT THE TRIP. SO HERE I GO, WE WILL BE STAYING AT THE POP CENTURY RESORT ( 1ST TIME ) FROM APRIL 24 TILL THE 29TH WITH THE DDP WHICH I HAVE EXPERIENCED LAST YEAR AND WAS VERY VERY HAPPY WITH A GREAT VALUE. NOW FOR WHERE WE WILL BE EATING.

4/24- SAN ANGEL INN
4/25- YACHTS MAN
4/27- NINE DRAGONS
4/28- CORAL REEF

SO TO BEGIN OUR JOURNEY LETS FAST FORWARD ZOOMING DOWN I-95 GOING WITHIN THE LEGAL SPEED LIMIT OF COURSE , SOOOO WE ARE ALMOST NEAR SAVANNAH GEORGIA MY USUAL PIT STOP FOR THE NIGHT WHEN DRIVING TO DISNEY WORLD, I THINK ITS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES IN THE US TO VISIT LOADED WITH HISTORY ,CHARM, AND VERY SOPHISTICATED ALSO. I REALLY LIKE TAKING LONG DRIVES I FIND THeirs NO BETTER WAY TO SEE THE COUNTRY ALSO FOR ME DRIVING DOWN I-95 IS VERY REALXING NO TRAFFIC JAMS LIKE IN NJ AND NY ( WHERE I USE TO COMMUTE TO EVERY MORNING) AND WITH ME SIRIUS RADIO THEIR IS NEVER A SHORTAGE OF STUFF TO LISTEN TO ON A LONG DRIVE. ANYWAY I WILL GET BACK ON TRACK, FOR THE NIGHT WE STAYED AT THE HOLIDAY IN EXPRESS IN ONE OF THE BIG MOTEL AND DINING COMPLEXES NEAR SAVANNAH. I FIND HOLIDAY IN EXPRESS TO BE THE BEST CHOICE THE SUITES ARE PRETTY CHEAP AND PROVIDE PLENTY OF ROOM, SO AFTER DINNER AT THE SONIC DRIVE INN ( MY FIRST TIME) VERY GOOD I MUST, SAY WE WATCHED SOME TV I DID SOME WORK ON MY COMPUTER AND FELL ASLEEP AROUND 12:30 AM

Part Three:

Sorry For The Delay I Have Been Kind Of Busy But Today Is My Day Off So I Can GET Going On This Report. When I Last Left Off I Was Going To Sleep At A Holiday Inn Express In Savannah Georgia. We Are Up At About 6:00am Get Something To Eat At Denny's And Are On Our Way To Florida For A Short Stay At Our Parents Who Just Bought A Home At "the Villages" Which Is This Huge Retierment Community About 50 Miles From Disney. Now I Don't Want To Insult Any Demographic Here But I Don't Think I Could Ever Live In One Of These Places When Im Older I Mean Theirs Something Very "twilight Zone" About These Places And I Do Not Think I Could Get Use To Seeing Old People Zipping Around On Golf Carts All Day But That's Just Me. So To Get Back On Track After About 4 Hours Of Driving And About Three Pink Floyd Cd's We Arrive At "the Villages" Nice Place Lot's Of Dining Options And Stores , So After Driving Around For 20 Minutes Trying To Find Our Parents House We Finallyyyyy Get Their.

We Figured Since We Never Saw The House Before And Since Our Parents Would Be Leaving To Go Back To Nj For Till The New Year, Why Not Pay Them A Visit. So We Pretty Much Take It Easy For The Next Day And A Half, Go To Walmart For Some Trip Must Have's (beer, Chips, ) Important Stuff, We All Have Dinner At The Outback Steakhouse Which Was Great. So On Tuesday Morning April 24th We Jumo Back Into My Modest Little Honda Element And Head To The Most Magical Place On Earth !!!!!!

Part Three Continued:

After A Very Short Drive Of About An Hour Or So We Arrive To See One The The Greatest Sights To Lay Your Eyes ON..... The Welcome To Walt Disney World Arch ThATWelcomes You To A World Of Fun And Carefree Living For As LonG As Your Staying Their. After About 5 Minutes Or So We Arrive At The Pop Century Resort, We Have Never Stayed Here Before But Right Away I Was Pleased With The Choice. Like Every Disney Resort Its Perfect And We Knew This Was Going To Be A Great Trip. I Park My Car And We Make Our Way To The Main Building To Check In For Our 5 Day Stay. Before I Get On Line For Check In We Check Out The Merchandise Store And Food Court , I Pretty Much Do The Same Thing At The Start Of All My Disney Trips. First The Store Which Was Stocked With Many Things That I Shouldn't Spend My Money On And Then The Food Court ( Which I Visite Quite Often) We Where Very Happy With The Choices Everything Looked Great And I Couldn't Wait To Stuff Myself Like A Pig.


So After Looking Around For A Little While And Eating A Delicious Cheeseburger And Chicken Fingers ( Told You) We Make Our Way On Line To Check In. Nothing Is Better Then When You Arrive At Disney World And Wait To Check In, Its Like Christmas Morning Times A Thousand. Check In Went Pretty Quickly With No Problems ( So We Thought) The Person Who Checked Us In Was A Nice Older Lady In Her Seventies Who Was Having A Little Problem With The New System , So She Called Someone Over To Give Her A Hand And The Problem Was Quickly Solved. Our Room Was Not Ready At The Time Which Was Around 9:00 Am But We Where Not Bothered By This News Since Our Room Was Right Near The Pool And Food Court !!!!! On The Third Floor With A Great View Of The Pool I Guess Getting A Preffered Room Pays Right. So Our Pass Cards With Ddp Where Made And Our Folder Pack With All The Info WAS HANDED TO ME, We Where All Ready To Start Our Trip. My Brother And I Decided On Epcot First Which Is Pretty Much Always My First Park To Visit On Check In Day, Everything Was Right With The World Nothing Could Go Wrong After All Are In Disney World !!!!!

Part 4 :

Ok When We Last Left Our Heros They Just Braved The Disney Check-in Line And Are About To Tackle Their Biggest Challenge........
Epcot Center !!!!! Lol I Know Im Corny , So We Are On The Road Headed To Epcot Center My Most Favorite Of The Disney Parks. I Love How Disney Combined Learning With Fun Its A Can't Miss Combo, For Me When i Go To Disney World Im Usually At Epcot Everyday, Theirs Always A Show Going On Or Just Walking Around World Showcase Puts A Smile On My Face. Plus Unlike Some Of The Other Parks (magic Kingdom) You Never Feel Crowded And Theirs Always Room To Walk And See Things. So We Arrive At Epcot Around 11:00 Am , Parking Lot Is Pretty Filled Up But That Doesn't Bother Us Since Epcot Is Big Enough For Everyone. We Take The Long Walk To The Ticket Center (no Trams For Us !!!) And Enter Epcot For The First Time This Trip. All Of My Problems Just Melt Away And Theirs Only One Thing On My Mind...... Space Ship Earth !!!!!!!! Quite Possibly My Favorite Attraction In The Whole Of Walt Disney World, Along With Being Very Interesting Anf Fun Its A 20 Minutes Oasis On Hot Days When You Need A Rest From The 2 Miles Of Epcot. Now When I Found Out That Disney Is Closing Down Space Ship Earth Till Next Year I Was Worried, Would They Be "dumbing It Down" Like Living Sea's And Making It More Kiddy Friendly ? Well Only Time Will Tell. So We Hit Space Ship Earth No Wait At All , Then We Heard Over To The Land For Soaring, Living With The Land, And Some Food Of Course Though We Don't Want To Stuff Ourselves To Much Since Our Adr At "san Angel Inn" Was Not To Far Away. So We Get A Fast Pass For "soarin" I Love This Ride Last May Was My First Time On It And Really Enjoyed It , My Brother Having Not Been To Disney Since 2003 Was Anxious To Ride It Also. We Get All Fast Passes And Hear Over To The Food Court Where We Enjoy Some Chinese Food Which Hit The Spot, Aftero Ur Snake We Do "living With The Land" Now Im A Little Upset That Disney Did Away With The Tour Guide , For Me The Guide Added Something Special To The Ride And I Don't Know Why Disney Would Think That A Recording Can Replace That Element, I Mean Imagine The "jungle Boats" Without The Guide? But Anyway We Enjoyed The Ride. Our Fast Passes For
'soarin" Where Still A While Away So We Head Over To " Journey Into Imagination" Other Fav Ride Of Mine, No Wait Here Also After The Ride We Still !!!!! Have Some Time To Kill So Over To "innoventions" We Look Around For An Hour Or So And Head Back To The Land. Thank God For Fast Pass Stand By Time Was Over An Hour !!!!! We Hand Our Passes To The Cm And After A Very Short Wait We Strap Ourselves In, Brother Loved The Ride Also And I Tihnk It Was Better Then I Remember From Last May. After Soarin We Go Over To Univers Of Energy But For Some Reason Its Not Open, Is Disney Planning A New Attraction Here ? I Hope Not. So We Heard To "world Showcase" Maybe A Drink Will Make Me Feel Better.
