What are the bed configurations in the 2 bedroom suites? Considering BWV, BCV, and WLV. Would prefer 2 queens or doubles in the 2nd room for our triplets (so that nobody has to sleep on the sleeper sofa). Is one of these better than the other?

We've never rented points before, but are considering doing so for our next trip (think it's too late for this year- everything appears booked). How far in advance should I post to rent points and make reservations?

Thanks!

None of the 2 bedrooms at BWV have 2 beds in the second bedroom, they are all 1 queen, 1 double sofabed. BCV and VWL have some 2 bedrooms with 2 queens, which you can reserve. Make reservations 11 months before with a member who owns at the resort you want.

Thanks. Is there a points calculator for 2006? How do I know how many points I'd need? Or will the DVC owner know?

All the OKW 2 bedroom villas have two queensized beds in the second bedroom. Plus the OKW villas are huge.

The DVC owner will have access to the number of points you will need. Should be about the same as this year, only different around Easter/Thanksgiving/etc when they move.

Sorry to barge in butI had to comment on your triplets. My husband is a triplet also and the picture you have reminded me of his family. 2 boys and a girl. his mother dressed them the same. They are toooooo cute.

There is a DVC calculator above and it is pretty close to 2006 except for the holiday periods for next year. You could also track down a post by Caskil. he knows it all!

We were at VWL in April in a 2BR. The master suite had a queen and the second BR had two doubles. It was a dedicated 2BR, however, so I'd be sure to request one of those since I don't know what a 1BR w/lock off studio has to offer.

To whet your appetite a bit :earsboy: , here's a bit more detail on the 2BR. The master suite has the jetted tub, separate shower, and two sinks, and is separated from the second BR by the kitchen/living room/dining room area. So, the kids won't be right on top of you. The second BR has its own TV, actually more drawer space than the MBR, and a separate bath (which has a tub/shower area).

As for VWL, it's a wonderful place. It's quiet, yet infused with the same Disney magic as the other resorts. As I often say, after spending a day rubbing elbows with thousands of your closest friends in the parks, it's nice to come home to a quieter resort. MK is a short boat hop away, and the other parks are easily accessed via buses, or you can drive if you're of a mind to do so. Good luck!

sleepydog25, I'm sure you meant to say the the master has a King.

Don't want to confuse anyone! :wave2:

Mea culpa. The caffeine obviously hasn't kicked in. Yes, king bed in the master suite, and according to the literature, the second bedroom has two queen beds. :earsboy:

As noted, there are no BWV units with 2 queens. At VWL, all of the DEDICATED 2 BR units have 2 queens. At BCV, only about a third of the DEDICATED 2 BR unit have 2 queens, the rest have a queen and pull out queen. And OKW is all 2 queens in the second. You can book the DEDICATED units directly in most cases so you may be able to control your fate. You will need to book well in advance, likley 10-11 months out.

thanks! We usually don't dress them alike anymore, but they had a school program that day and EVERYONE had to dress in red/white/blue. It's one of the few I have of them in the same clothes (in the past year or so). That's so neat about your husband. I'm always fascinated by older triplets and what life must have been like for your MIL when they didn't have all the triplet gadgets! Are your DH and brother identical?

Thanks to all for the info (and the great review of the WLV)! I have a couple of DVC members with points available checking for me on Tues. If it doesn't work out this time, then we definitely will know to book 10-11 months out and ask for a dedicated unit.

Again, thanks to all for the info and help!
