2 bedroom SSR preferred or OWK non preferred

We are traveling down in December for a Disney wedding. I currently have a 2bd preferred at SSR for the whole time. I have a 2 bedroom at OKW part wait listed and part booked. I also have the full dates wait listed for OKW preferred. If the partial wait list comes through should I drop the SSR? We love OKW and if the preferred wait list comes through (not holding me breath) I wouldn't even be posting this. I guess I need opinions if non preferred room at OKW is better than a preferred room at SSR. (I would love the full washer and the "feel" of OKW but don't want to be on the far end of the resort)

Do you mean OKW HH area? There are no standard/preferred at OKW, all units are the same points.

I know they are all the same points, but they are different book categories.

The only difference is the HH area, and all units in buildings below #30, is they do not have the 2nd entrance to the master bath thru the laundry room.

knowing that, would you stay at SSR in the preferred room, or move to OKW and be farther from HH?

Being near the HH is no perk.

I would stay at OKW, being away from the HH area is, to me a plus. You get the 2nd entrance to the master bath, and every bus stops at the HH area before it leaves the resort. The 'local' bus makes the stops in reverse order, to get you back. The OKW units are more than 300 sq ft larger at OKW than SSR, and they have a real balcony with a large table, 4 chairs and a ceiling fan. SSR patio has 2 chairs and a small side table.

Go with OKW. You said you love it and not having HH is no big deal. The units are much larger, and SSR is getting ready for a rehab.

Here is hoping the wait list comes through . Although I am no against a split stay, my check out/in day is the day of the rehearsal.
