2 Bedroom Jan 1-7 2007

Anyone recently tried for a 2 BR Jan 1-7, 2007 or close to it? If you have, did you get it or did you get waitlisted? What sites did you try for?

I am booking January 1-8 in a one bedroom. So far I have the 1-5, I will keep calling day by day. This is for a standard view at the Boardwalk. ALL resorts were available with all views at the Boardwalk. I thought this was a busy time for DVC, but I guess not. Anyway, I did ask about a 2 bedroom at the Boardwalk but all they had was preferred view and I only had enough points for standard view so I just got the 1 bedroom, but it was available. I didn't check the 2 bedroom for any other resorts. Hope that helps.

I'm calling tommorrow instead of Day by Day... I figured I might get waitlisted but so be it... I have my SSR ressie... BW is just my fav. I wanted a Preferred View (preferably BW view) so that works well.

We have a 2BR ressie for Jan 1 - 6 at SSR. I called today to try to move it to BWV (preffered view) and have the 2nd, 3rd and 5th but waitlisted for the 1st and 4th. (I thought I might have to waitlist for all the days and was happy to get 3 of the 5, but I don't get why the 4th wasn't available when the 2nd, 3rd and 5th were ) We would be willing to move once but not twice. So if neither comes through we will be happy staying at SSR. If the 4th comes through but not the 1st we'll stay at SSR the first night and then move to BWV for the rest of the trip. But it would be great if both days came through, but I think we'll need a lot of pixie dust for that. But for now we're just waiting.
