Hi Jen,
I have a DD who will be 8 at the time of cruising....so they may be able to pal around together also. Can't wait.

Yeah! I'll be sure to tell her. She was a bit bummed that all the kids would be her sisters age. I tried to explain that that wouldn't be the case but this will help. LOL

We were there at night, Valentines 2010... funny, I don't remember seeing any stars in the sky. Oh yeah... hurricane!

The best part of cruising in February is no hurricanes. The worst part of cruising in February - airport delays due to snow and bad weather.

We always take a direct flight between New Orleans and Orlando to lessen our chances of weather related delays but cold fronts, even in the south, can cause delays.

We cruised through what became Tropical Storm Barry on one of our early cruises and those were probably some of the worst seas we ever experienced.

Fair enough - no hurricane. Just high winds, enough to keep the Magic there overnight. Better than riding it out at sea!

As for how to take those photos, you can do it yourself! (Though you probably won't have paradise and a mouse to make it perfect...) Here's an article that talks about how to do it yourself! If you notice behind Mickey in the Cabana, the stars have left trails... that's about a 45-second exposure. The foreground (Mickey) was probably lit by a flashlight, low-watt bulb, or lantern. We've played with those sorts of shots before, and had some good results. Nothing as beautiful as those pics though!

I am new to the boards and am a first time Disney cruiser. I will be sailing with my DH and three DD,s ages 13, 11, and 9. We are very excited to cruise as we have been to Disney many , many times. I can't wait and am counting down the days too!!!!

Added another family to our cruise! My sister and daughter are joining us (two adults). Total of 4 rooms in our party and maybe one more to be booked in Sept. I can't wait! This will be a first time cruise for all of them except for my immediate family.
