2/9/2008 - Valentine Cruise 7 Night Western - Anyone On The Love Boat ?

Hi everyone! Something to keep in mind somewhere in the back of your head if you want a verandah but don't want to shell out the money. This past Feb on the same cruise there were a whole lot of people who received the "magical" free upgrade including us so there is still hope! We were upgraded from a cat. 9 to the cat. 7 with the open verandah. My DH loved the room so much that we booked that same cabin for our return  trip. No matter what, as long as you are sailing with Disney you are going to have a wonderful time!

I've missed you!!

I've been really busy lately so I haven't been around. Thats what I get for working two jobs. Only 2 more months of this though :D

Back to rainy ol' England ..:sad2:

....and all that holiday washing :laundy: :laundy: :laundy: :laundy:

Switzerland was great though.......we have done loads of cable cars and mountain railways, been to a chocolate factory (with free samples  ), visited castles, swam and generally took in the breath taking views.:goodvibes

We met quite a few Americans and Canadians which was great (to have fellow english speakers to converse with ...since my french is so rusty !).

The worst bit about being back home (apart from the washing) was finding I had been charged nearly $40 for a 4 minute phonecall home, made through the international operator :faint:

Happy First Birthday to your little one.

I know what you mean, we're in the same boat....only throw in baseball instead of dance. We're in tournament right now: there's nothing like spending every night at the baseball fields from 430pm to 1030pm then getting home only to wash the uniform clean up and go to bed and start all over again the next night. Granted I'm glad the kids are winning, and I love cheering them on but these couple weeks in tournament sure wear ya down. These couple weeks make me rethink this whole working mom thing...hahaha. Top it with, we leave for WDW in 13 days! Oh ya, that's the part I'm looking forward to!

Thanks PrincessTink!

On a cruise related note, our matching cruise outfits arrived the other day, I can't wait to have our portrait done the first night onboard!!
Anyone plan any excursions yet?

We will probably book something on our own in Key West, and while my husband is diving in Grand Caymen, the kids and I will probably hit the beach and shop. Leaning towards Xcaret in Cozumel.

We haven't yet. I don't really think we're (at least my husband and me) are going to do any this time. I just want to find a beach a go hang out on it.

I do want to go to Palo for brunch and dinner.

The next time we cruise without the kids I plan on doing strictly shopping and beaches!
We keep saying we're going to go to Palo one night but I just adore our waiter so much I hate to have dinner without him!! We are really looking forward to seeing him again this cruise!!

That's what we're thinking this time too.....maybe find some beaches. We did excursions and shopping last time. If we do an excursion, maybe something in Coz that includes a beach.

We definately want to go to Palo's for dinner again, it is quite a treat. I think we'll probaly skip brunch though.

Hey everyone!! I just found out they are scheduled to launch the Space Shuttle Endeavor on Valentine's Day 2008. We will be at sea that day, not far off the coast of Florida. If all goes as planned, we sould be able to see the shuttle!

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.

WARNING: We were down at Disney's Vero Beach Resort a couple years, sitting on the beach waiting for the shuttle launch.....when an hour before take off, it was scrubbed. It would have been so cool too see from there, but at least we did drive into the madness only to turn around and go back to the resort.
