2/9/2008 - Valentine Cruise 7 Night Western - Anyone On The Love Boat ?

Welcome Wendor and Giefu. Las Vegas, huh? I used to live north of LA in the desert and passed through Vegas all the time on my way home to Colorado!

No documents here yet. Am always a bit nervous being in Canada because some things can take FOREVER to cross the border but on our last cruise, I called to ask and they said something to me like "relax, this is Disney. We do this all the time" and of course we received them in plenty of time. I just can't wait to have them in my hands!

On another note, got the stateroom assignment, sounds like we may be in a loud area. Not looking forward to that and will be calling tomorrow (and every day thereafter) to see if that can be changed. With 3 small kids, I don't need any noise keeping them up. I need all the sleep I can get too!!

Have a great night everyone!

Kristine

Had our TA check on our earlier today. She called DCL and verified that they have not been sent out yet, but told us not to worry, that it's been averaging about 14 days in advance for the last month or so. (not 100% sure if she meant us receiving them 14 days out, or DCL sending them 14 days out)

Almost forgot. Cruise is a present for my wife's 40th birthday (we did 11 days at the Grand Floridian for mine). We're also doing Brunch at Palo on Monday and Tea and Dinner both at Palo on Thursday (Valentine's Day)

Oh, and staying at the Hyatt at the airport the night of the 8th.

Thank you so much!!!

Hi and welcome, we are also staying at the Hyatt at the airport on the 8th, we land at 14.50 so should have time to explore a bit, never been to the USA before. Emtmom family (from this board ) are also staying at the hotel, she has stayed there before and can recommend it.

Your dolphin swim in cozumel, do they have a web site I can look at?

Welcome again

I used to live in Florida, so we're meeting family for dinner at the hotel that night.

For the dolphin swim I always go to www.dolphindiscovery.com directly and book the Royal Swim. In my opinion much better than what most cruise lines get for about the same price (or even less) but it does normally book up fast. Ours is at 11:00am. I've done it before, but my wife never has (doing that was actually the original reason for the cruise)

Actually I just looked and they do still have openings for the Royal Swim the day we're in Cozumel.

[EDIT] Oh yeah, if you book directly rather than through DCL you have to get there on your own, but I've never had a problem getting a taxi there or back.

Great picture! I hope I can get my hubby up there for that. I would love to see him in a coconut bra and a flower swim cap.

Hello Wendor and Giefu!

Three weeks! Three! :woohoo:

Welcome Wendor and Giefu! Can you believe we'll be out on the wide open water exactly 3 WEEKS from this very minute!!!

Hi Wendor!!

We will also be staying at the Hyatt on the 8th, we've stayed there before and it was terrific! We will also be meeting family there. Our flight arrives at 10:30 am (hopefully!!) Friday morning so we'll relax at the hotel pool and do some shopping as well!!

Is anyone else going to put up door magnets? We are, I've got the magnets for my in-laws designed, just need some inspiration for our door!! Any thoughts?

Ian that picture just makes me giggle every time I see it!!! Thanks for posting it again!! :):rotfl2:
Laurie

21 Days!!!:yay: :woohoo:

I am working on a few door magnets I started back in may when I had all the time in the worldand now :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: we only have 20 days left

Good morning! :wave2:

My son is working on door magnets too. He doesn't know what he's gotten himself in to though. We have quite a few people traveling with us.

Door Magnets? What do you do with door magnets?

People often decorate their stateroom doors, though a newer rule states only magnets can be used (tape was removing the paint!!). It's done to be festive, but also to help locate your door!! (MH can never remember our room number!!) For instance, we are putting one up for my in-laws, who'll be celebrating their 35th anniversary.
