(I agree, we have to start thinking about a meet on the ship! The last one I was on, everyone met on the 'secret' deck 7 and brought some room service goodies with them...cheese and fruit tray, for example.)

Hello all! Just wanted to get on the thread to say we (finally) decided to go ahead and take this cruise. We'd been thinking about pushing it out to the Summer of '09 but then we figured, who doesn't want to be on the Magic in Feb!

This will be our 3rd cruise on the Magic and it will be my DW and our 2 boys, 7 and 10.

I'll probably read a few pages back from here on the thread but there is no way I'm reading every post from the beginning!

Hello Tony and welcome, you made the right choice not waiting till 09.

Depends how many pages you go back but if you see a photo of men in pink skirts I'm one of them. My wife, daughter (10) and son (6) have forgiven me and will be joining me on the cruise.

There is a thread set up for the children to get to know each other, I think it's called kids on the love boat but there is a link a few pages back.

Since we finalized the trip late we missed making reservations online. I guess we'll be at RBD as soon as we board to handle that.

Our 75 days out was last night at 9pm, so I was able to get on and book Palo reservations and the Exotic Rasul - can't wait!!

Welcome Tony! Our girls are 7 and 10 as well. They will be on the kids chat thread once they find out they're going on the cruise ... Christmas morning!
