2/9/2008 - Valentine Cruise 7 Night Western - Anyone On The Love Boat ?

Shame you didn't get an evening Palo on the 14th.....(but probably lucky you got the brunch all the same).
I wonder if they release more slots for the 75 people ?...maybe worth setting your alarm for 4.45am. that morning, if you can find out whether they do ?
Other than that, keep your brunch, and see if you can leg it to the reservations desk as soon as you board to swap it for an evening slot.
Actually, if you've not done it before, if you end up keeping the brunch, you would not be disappointed - its a wonderful meal, and much more relaxed than the dinner !

We've provisionally booked the Catamaran & snorkelling with Disney...but may do a private one yet as other have booked on here...maybe the private tours won't have the same age restrictions ???

Good morning,

Well done on booking Palos, I noticed you booked a Rasul:confused3 didn't know what this was, had a quick look, sounds good:hug: so booked it:thumbsup2

Glad you enjoyed your holiday, the hotel looked fantastic.

Have you got everything organised for your wedding, do they allow stag/hen parties onboard?pirate: princess:

Ian

we'll need a ball and chain and some handcuffs for the stag, don't think i'll get them through customs:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ian

I don't think they'll be necessary on board a ship.....but I've told him he'd better be one heck of a good swimmer, if he thinks he's gonna get out of this one ;)

Party party: ...........where's the party going to be then Ian ? .....and don't say our cabin, because we haven't booked the Walt suite you know ! :crowded: (lol).

Well, this SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No Palo brunch available. What kind of nonsense is this? You can't get Palo brunch THE FIRST DAY RESERVATIONS OPEN UP

All booked, checked in resservations for what we wanted and shore excursions also booked!!!

Jodifl, I posted a reply to your same thread on the main boards. Don't get too worked up about it, there really are a pretty limited number of on line reservations. Keep trying over the next couple of months, people cancel and spots open. But I'm sure you'll have no trouble getting a reservation once you board. They keep a number open for the majority of folks who either don't have a computer or do on line check in stuff.

Thanks for the note. It's just such a disappointment. I called, and the agent said he'd gotten the same call the day before from another person.

Any idea what time I need to get on the boat to accomplish this?

We always plan on arrive at the port as close to when they open as possible. It gets really really crowded close to boarding time, but the process goes so quickly it isn't a problem. That way we get on the ship pretty much immediatetly and head over to make or change reservations. We've never had a problem doing either. We also like to be on the ship every single minute that we can, so even when we've booked everything a head of time, we get there to board early. That's our plan for this trip as well.

In your experience, what time does the Port open? We'll be driving over from Saratoga Springs.

I'm pretty sure the port opens back up the arriving public at 10am. Boarding starts between 11:30 and 12.
