2/9/2008 - Valentine Cruise 7 Night Western - Anyone On The Love Boat ?

Oh my goodness......I had a mouthful of coffee when I seen this pic! Not what I was expecting!

Looks like everyone's plan are starting to pull together. We 're waiting for Southwest to release their dates, their site said this Thursday....I hope I can remember to log on and get our seats then. We really have alot goin on right now and it won't get any releif for at least a couple weeks. We have had our house on the market for 5.5 months and wouldn't you know someone decided to buy it.....a week b4 school starts here. And they want to close in less than 2 weeks. We hadn't been too serious about finding a house with the way the housing market is here in the US, we weren't sure if we would be able to sell anytime soon. So, now we're been in House Hunting Mode 24/7....this is just a bit stressfull. We'll we found a house yesterday, but in another school distrcit and they start school TOMORROW.....GEEZ. Talk about stressing me out. The house is empty (actually close to foreclosure) so we made them an offer last night and hope to close REAL SOON. We will have to negotiate with the owners then give it to their bank to approve (which takes 48 hours). Then we have to get everything lined up, all the time packing up a house that we've lived in for 10.5 years, taking my son to football practive 3 times a week, and working 40 hours a week. I have one word for you....WOW!

This cruise can not come soon enough......I will NEED this quite time away from all phone lines and real life to unwind and relax.

this will be our 2nd cruise, we got back from our 1st last week - we enjoyed it so much we booked this one whilst still onboard. you will not be disappointed

i have 2 children, my daughter Emily is 9 now (10 on the cruise) and my son Zak is 6 - both really enjoyed themselves.

there has been a seperate thread set up for the children to chat and get to know each other beforehand

Hi Teva,

My little girl is recovering well, we are lucky to have a specialist children's hospital reasonably nearby in Liverpool - they were marvellous with her.
She has had all her stitches removed but its still difficult to see the extent of her facial scarring as she still has dressings over them.

I have to say that after seeing some of the terrible childrens' injuries we saw whilst being at that hospital, it really puts into perspective that a few scars (even though they are on her face) are absolutely nothing compared to what some children go through.

Anyway she is running about, as lively as ever, and surprisingly, it has not put her off dogs one bit (its made me alot more fearful though !). I guess you can never take an animal's behaviour for granted..no matter how harmless it looks (and this was a just a a very harmless looking Border Collie that attacked my daughter )
