2/9/2008 - Valentine Cruise 7 Night Western - Anyone On The Love Boat ?

Tink, according to SW's site, they aren't opening up the dates now until the 27th.

Will there be formal and semi formal nights on our cruise? if so what nights?

I want to book Palos on valentine day ( I won't be wearing my pink outfit ) but I have told we can't until 11/11/07, I guess that will be a busy day at DCL reservations! we didn't dine in Palos in the med, is it worth it and are there many tables?

Anybody booking any excursions?

If you have done the cruise before can you recommend any beaches to visit?

Oh come on, Ian, wear the pink tutu. It is Valentine's Day afterall. No one will even notice.

My opinion is Palo is well worth it. We did both the dinner and brunch.

We still have yet to try Palo, probably won't bother trying this time around.

As far as excursions, the only one we are booking through DCL is Xcaret Eco Park when we are in Cozumel. In Key West we have booked an Echo Catamaran tour. http://www.dolphinecho.com/

We have done the brunch at Palo and it was a great experience ...though DH2B did say he felt a bit over-dressed for the brunch.
He took a long sleeved shirt, tie and 'proper' shoes.

The meal was superb... but we were so full from eating onboard generally, we couldn't do it justice !

South West Airlines, right now you can only book until January 11th. They were suppose to open their dates up to March today but have pushed it to the 27th.



I don't know if any of you know who they are but I'm going to a Rascall Flatts concert tonight!

Ian, Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman is absolutely beautiful!! We are planning on that excursion. Also, you should rethink the "Pink" and do Palo's on Valentine's Day if you can or any night at that.

Castway Club reservations open up 11/11 I think. You cannot make hair reservations ahead of time, but you can make spa treatment reservations.

Since the night before the big day is formal night, I may try to have my hair done then and sleep sitting up.

It is definately 11/11 for castaway club members.

Bridesmaid rates are a massage, facial and manicure, shop around you'll find that's preety good

Hello Cruisemates!

From Philly to Orlando, leaving on Friday and coming back on Sunday is about $200 per person round trip, plus the other add on taxes etc. Flying back on Saturday increased that by at least another third or mor.
