2/5/05 Eastern--anyone booked?

Katy,

Just call you travel agent and ask them to add it. They will tell you that Disney will call you to make your reservations, but don't listen! As soon as the package is added, call Debbie in the dining department. She is wonderful and will make your Palo and spa reservations. Just knowing that I can now enjoy a leisurely lunch and not do the ressie rush on embarkation day is worth every penny that the package costs!!!

Denise

Hi Katy,

Debbie's number is 407.566.7411. Once you have made your REAS reservation and paid for it, Debbie can work with you to schedule everything.

See you soon.

Hi All,

I am hoping to spend some quality Spa time above the REAS package. Just wondering if anyone else is and what they recommend.

TTYS,
Renée

Hi All,

I viewed a fairly recent Navigators (for mid-December) and saw listed a non-denominational church service on Sunday morning. I know we will be attending. Anyone else that would like to join us meet up for services is welcome. Just let me know between now and 2/6. (We are LDS/Mormon.)

Have a great day! Three weeks to go!

Renée

Hi all!

Thanks for the info - I'll call Dreams Unlimited today to get the package.

And just as an FYI - DVCajun happens to be the goober - we did book a month after her but we also booked with Dreams - not MICDAN. I'll give her a break this time - she has a new baby in the house (who I adore) so she is allowed brain toots!

Three Weeks To GO!!! My kids are bouncing off the walls! We're flying down a day early and staying 4 days after the cruise!!!!! No Docs yet!! Up here in Seattle today it's sunny and 32! I want it to be 80! Can't wait.

Thanks to Denise's (I think) luggage tip, I stopped by Target on the way to work. Instead of getting the four piece, I splurged and got the five piece. The one suitcase is huge. It was $62 for five pieces. The bags are red (my favorite color). My husband wondered how many pieces of luggage our family actually needed since we already have a few bags. When I explained that one of our cats "marked" my duffle with my name stitched on the side (which I prefer to fly with), the conversation changed quickly.

Speaking of cats, one of our cats was missing since Wednesday. We found her tonight in our neighbor's (two houses away) crawl space.

I am starting to dream of strawberry shortcake and shrimp cocktail. (I'm obsessed with food.)

Pleasant dreams!

Renée

:jumping2:

19 days until we fly to florida.

:bored1:

I can't wait please fast forward the calender !!!!

It is snowing here in Raleigh today - sooooo I took the opportunity to start packing !!

All morning I have been trying clothes on and figuring out what I still need to go out and buy. My poor son has had so many outfit changes this morning he feels abused! Too bad - he looked great in his new suit!

Dreaming of warm days to come on February!!! :boat:

Katy

Katy,

we did the same thing last night. Except DW was making a list of what shoes she needs to buy. the shopping trip today may cost more than the cruise.

I love it - sounds like your wife also understands the value of a great pair of shoes.... or two, or three, or four..... :flower1:

Just make sure you save some for spending money!

...shopping for the cruise? Saturday I scored a fancy dress at Ross Dress for Less for $29. Macy's (the same people that bring you the Thanksgiving Day Parade) had "markdown, markdown, markdown" then an additional 25% off. No one told me I would spend almost as much getting ready for the trip as I would for the trip. We have not even bought anything for Stephen yet.

I have a big suitcase in the middle of the living room getting full of all of my "must haves" for trip. I went to Target and finished getting all sorts of medical supplies. I got a squishy, packable hat tonight. Every time I pull in the driveway I think of some other "must have" for the trip.

Is anyone one else having the same experience?

TTYS,
Renee

Me too!
I'm spending so much money! I bought snorkeling gear, sundresses, formals, a tux on ebay for my son, and all sorts of stuff in Target.
My suitcase is in my bedroom and it's filling up! We put a countdown calendar on our fridge yesterday! 16 days for us! Woo hoo!

Hey our cruise is almost Valentine's day so we just added REAS through our TA so I guess I'll wait a couple days then try to call Debbie to make reservations.

Renee and/or kdicey,

Do either of you know what dining rotation we are going to be in or is it still unknown? I just don't want to miss the Animator Palate color show when we reserve Palo. Thanks...

I would sugesst booking Palo :charac2: for Wednesday night. St.Thomas Night. Its the neight with least amount of shows and the we have already seen every dining room.

When I spoke to Debbie before we all hooked up together I requested APLAPLA. Now that we are all together :grouphug: I do not know what Renee requested.

thanks kdicey,

APLAPLA sounds great!

I just called TA, we got a FEDEX track #, so our docs are on the way! :cool1:

I didn't pick a rotation... all I did was hook our ressies together. Sorry. I wish I had known to ask when I called DCL today. I did double check that our ressies were still linked for dinner though. APLAPL would be fantastic. I hope we get it. I am looking forward to AP (and Palo of course). Not too excited about PC.

As for which night to pick Palo, if you pick Wednesday you will see Debbie and Tom (6:30), the Dicey family (7PM) and the Pate family (7:30).

I got our room assignment today. We are in room 2509. Let me put it this way...if we were on the Titanic, ice would be delivered to our room. Our room is in the very front of the ship, as far as you can go w/an inside cabin directly under one of the clubs. No inside cabin is closer than us, though there are a few outside ones a little closer to the front. I was (not-so-secretly) hoping to be bumped up, but alas it is not so. We got what we paid for. I do not anticipate being in there a lot so I am sure it will be fine. :-)

As for docs, those of you who have received them or will tomorrow you are "lucky". DCL told me today I probably will not see them until about 10 days out. :-(

TTYS... Renée

I am glad to hear that other people have't gotten their docs yet. I thought that I was the only one. I keep coming home from work and asking my wife if they came and she keeps telling me no. She jokes that she is going to hide them from me when they come just to mess with me!
