Were going in December with our two sons ages 3.5yrs & 1 year exactly.. Is there much for a 1 year old?

Also we have two pushchairs, one is an icandy quite expensive the other an old silvercross not worth much etc and is harder to steer whereas the icandy glides along easily, which would you take with you? I don't want it to get lost if we have to park it up somewhere..
We have a 1yo so more than likely one of us will always be with the pram whilst other takes 3yo on rides as 1yo won't be able to go on much will he?
Just need some advice really .. Do people take there expensive prams or take a cheapie? Thank you

Hello :)

We went a couple of years ago with a 5 year old and a 14 month old and we did loads! Dumbo, Pinocchio, Snow White, Storybook boat ride, Small World and all the 'show' type things - plus with all the characters, we had a fab time so don't worry about that.

Also, be sure to take advantage of baby swap - if you or another adult have to wait with the baby while the other adult goes on a bigger ride, if they mention Baby swap to the cast member at the front of the ride, they will give them a ticket which means the other adult can go straight on the ride without having to queue again. We used this loads and our eldest though it was great as she got to ride multiple times!

We bought a more lightweight buggy just for the little one to be able to fall asleep in etc and we also took a bike lock to secure the pushchair to the railings while we were on a ride because buggy theft is a big thing in DLP unfortunately so I would definitely recommend that!

I hope that helps, and that you have a wonderful time :)

I have read a few stories of pushchairs getting stolen, I definitely wouldn't take an Icandy. You can rent pushchairs there but apparently they aren't very comfortable and you can't recline them etc, so perhaps taking your cheap one would be best. However, I have never experienced DLP with a pushchair personally so maybe I am not best qualified to answer!

With children that age I would be looking on eBay for a second hand double buggy.
It's a lot of walking for little legs and with later night believe me you will need it.
Buggy thefts do happen at DLP so don't take the I candy.

We brought a double stroller for our 3yo and 5yo and it was a Godsend. I'd definitely advise getting one if you can.

Lots of things the 1yo can go on....mostly in Fantasyland.

Thank you so much for all your answers. Will definitely leave the icandy at home then!
I was planning in taking the pushchair & a sling & buggyboard but think I will look into getting a double just to be safe thanks

Do you know if any good string double buggys that will fit my 3.5 year old plus a 1 yo as my 3.5yo is very tall and heavier than a normal 3.5yo :/

Phil and teds take up to a six year old if you google it.
I think they are great :thumbsup2
