***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Actually, I was so frustrated when the Cubs lost their lead, that I went to bed before it was over. The fireworks at midnight woke me up and I turned on the TV to find out that they won the World Series.

I had some extra MB covers from one of the cover sites that I used for the extra bands. I didn't want to confuse them with our real MB's.

Nice! Smart idea. Oh, that's another question actually. Does anyone know if I'll be able to use my old mb's (all mine, tied to my profile in MDE) as room keys as well? Or will I only be able to open the room with the mb that came with that reservation?

Yes, you can use all your MB's for everything, room keys, to enter the parks, and charge to your room. As long as they are linked and active on your MDE then they will all work.

I feel like a hamster on a wheel trying to catch up with this thread! Every time I stop for a breath there are pages more, lol!

My 3 things:
1) I am going to WDW next month, and thought I was an "expert" at planning Disney. Then I found this thread! I have already learned so much, and I feel like I have a support group who also LOVE Disney as much as I. I am so grateful for this group of smart, helpful, funny people!


2) My sister is coming up to TN for Thanksgiving, so it will be 4 of us instead of our usual 3. Happy to have a "full" table, lol!


3) I get to go to WDW with my son during our first year home schooling. The teacher has NO problem with a trip to WDW. I checked.

DS14 was telling me all about the billy goat curse. He is over the moon about their win! So glad your team won!!

So, anyone bringing multiple mb's from previous trips to have different colors for coordinating? I am! I already have green and red bands from previous trips, so I already have my Christmasy-colored bands. Since I'm doing a split stay this time, I will also be getting purple and pink bands! So many options to choose from for each day of my trip! Lol. I ordered the extra mb for SDFP in gray, so I won't confuse it with any of my others.

Our linked-to-our account MBs are our respective favorite colors and our 2nd set (purchased on sale--another shout-out to @pigletgirl!) are characters. @PlutosUnDr8d speaking of a hamster on a wheel, I've been spending so much time online researching hamsters and fun toys for them because we're planning to get the girls a hamster for Christmas. First step before a puppy so it's been taking all of my time!!

Plus, I found the cutest thing on etsy! I figured I'd share my excitement with you guys. So, my girls JUST got into Pokemon and love picachu. I didn't want to get them many Pokemon toys or cards for Christmas and I came across these Pokemon ball looking bath fizzies! They have little Pokemon charCters hidden inside when they dissolve, and they come in all sorts of scents. It came with little sponges, a lip scrub and mini picachu plush. I can't wait for them to get them! I just thought they were so cute. They have shopkins ones too in case there are other fanatics on here

Hi everyone! I am super late in the game. My family is staying in a cabin at FW on Thurs 12/1-Sun 12/4! Can't wait it's me, DH, DS2, DD5mo, and my mom! It's a quick abbreviated trip with the babies...we're doing MK 12/2 EMH AM until afternoon (not doing party) then heading to Boma for dinner (DH loves AKL). Sticking to main st and fantasyland for MK.

Then AK on 12/3 with Tusker house dinner. 12/4 we'll explore FW before flying home (Massachusetts). Can't wait! Kinda kicking myself for not doing a BOG breakfast on 12/2 but oh well!

Yeah, the nice thing is, since it's just me, I don't really have to worry about mixing anything up! The red, green, purple, and pink bands I have there's no possible mixing up to do, as they're all my own mb's, on my main MDE account, so they'll all function the same way and I can just pick what goes best with my outfit! And thanks to @Wood Nymph confirming that they'll all work as room keys! I knew they'd all be good for everything else (tickets, fp's, charging, etc) but was just questioning myself on room access, lol. The one oddball mb is the one tied to the 2nd person on my reservation who won't actually be there, and I got that band in the default gray, so it'll be really obvious which one it is! Lol.

You guys are making me want to try Zumba. There is a class really close to me. I'm not much of a dancer (I'm actually a certified yoga teacher but I don't teach a regular class anymore ). Quiet night, I'm working nights tonight.

OMG, if you get a chance you should totally do it!! I love that there are all different ages, sizes, and fitness levels in my class! There are lots of people who have no rhythm whatsoever but it doesn't matter because everyone there is having fun and burning calories!

I just came here to say I got my email this morning too!! AND...we're at 29 days on our countdowns!! We're finally in the 20's!!!

So, I realized I 'needed' another mb decal I'll have the Mickey ice cream bar and Peter Pan 'Never Grow Up' decals for my non-Christmasy purple and pink bands. Then I have a Mickey elf head and Mickey reindeer head that I'll put on my green band. So, I just ordered the glow in the dark green candy cane decal from magicyourband to put on my red band! Feeling much better now about my mb decor #disneyobsessedproblems

Oh, and I meant to add, others here who are masters at ADR stalking will be better able to advise, but there might be a chance of still finding a BOG ADR if you use something like the TP ADR finder, are really persistent in stalking the reservations site, or if someone here has one that they are planning on giving up.

Actually, speaking of budgets, I forgot to share earlier, and totally Disney unrelated, other than hopefully allowing me to worry a little less about funding my WDW obsession down the road, lol, but I officially found out this week (although got a hint from my boss last week) that I got into the training program at work that will help me to progress to the next level in my field. Woot! I started working at my current company in March of 2015 and it was a complete career change for me (I'm now in broadcast media), having started in education, with a 1.5 year jump into retail when the education job market became nonviable! I got a promotion in November, and this should be the next step to getting my next pay increase, lol. I am very fortunate to have landed in a place where there is a good opportunity for advancement, despite not having an actual background in this field.

I don't think you need a paid subscription to Touring Plans to use this, and someone I'm sure will correct me if I'm wrong, but you can also use this: https://touringplans.com/walt-disney-world/reservation-finder

And too funny about the Zumba! I see plenty of uncoordinated people in classes, you'd be fine!
