Thank you @Talby!!!Hope your family had fun @rasadowski! I'm falling over laughing thinking of you stuffing your face with candy and becoming addicted to Etsy because that's pretty much what happens once you start!Did you fall in love with anything in particular?
And I've been meaning to ask how are those renovations coming?
And I'm talkin' house here, not Disney plans.
Must have been a zoo sorta day!! Hope your crew had a great time! It's fun randomly bumping into Disney fans when out and about.Did they share anything that hasn't been covered here? Hard to believe that's even a possibility! haha But you never know! Or was there anything they mentioned being particularly wow'd by?
My hat is off to you @Mrs. Inc and @DisneyBelle27 for your time spent teaching.Years of volunteering in my kids' schools has given me a huge appreciation for the heroes teachers truly are!
I'm feeling the urge to do a little cheer with all the great news about ADRs, transfer success, and desired FP scores!!I see several people got things they were looking for!! It's equally thrilling every single time it happens!! That kind of thrill just never loses its jump-for-joyness!!
Cheers to resolved IT problems, light-up necklaces, and cute t-shirts!! Wow, this weekend has been EXCITING!! Congrats to all!!

we had a great time at the zoo. There really weren't too many animals out this year for some reason! I don't know if they were put away indoors earlier this year than last. It's been so mild I thought they'd still be outside
But, we did get to see gorillas and monkeys and lions
it's just fun for the kids to dress up and wear their costumes as often as they can . I love that their costumes are already needing stitches and things are coming unglued even before Halloween
I hope you had a great time with your family! The kids never seem to mind, but I'm always bummed that they give out so little "real" candy on the zoo trail. It's mostly health food bar type things and juice boxes. I think one stand gave out actual candy, and I did sneak a few from the girls bags. I know, I really am horrible. But, it was for their own good! I need to make sure they don't get sick from eating too much Halloween candy. It's my job to keep them healthy, right?and I can't believe you remember my renovations!! haha! When I read it, twice, I still thought you said "reservations." Even my 6 year old asks me if I've got all my reservations!

But, yes! We are done for the most part
Our walls are open and it feels much bigger and newer in here
We still have to paint and patch things, but that will just take a bit of time
I"m so glad that it is over and that most of the disney planning is set. (really still waiting for Rol thought
even though I wish I could just leave it in the dust!!!!) and I , too, was contemplating changing park days....but my reasoning has to do with MK and if it opens at 8am one day. I do have the same PPO booked now on two days, so I can easily change if I want too....that fp thing would be the only issue.....
I'm just going to have to make last minute changes I think...@DisneyBelle27 I taught Middle School too
I was a Spanish teacher for 6-8 grades before I stayed home once I had my daughter. There are a lot of things I miss
It's such an awesome age group, and I definitely could not do anything lower or higher! i tried elementary and high school, and since I didn't like either, I said, "well, better be MS!!" and it was a perfect fit.I don't think I'd go back though, unless they needed a SPanish teacher in my girls' school part time or something, then that would be fun

Hope you guys all have a great Monday!

you're so right about those being the hottest topics there. The longest threads are those ones and even simple questions seem to lead to the stupidest comments. Oh well, those original posters need to learn to ignore it after!
I've stopped trying to make sense out of those and would read them for entertainment. I will say though, people need to learn there is no pleasing everyone!
