***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I was asking because I have a 4:20 on 12/9 and would not mind your time slot lol.
Man, that would have been perfect if it was on the same day! Haha! I may just end up dropping the lunch ADR. Somebody else posted on my question in the Attractions/Tips forum about the end time of my tour about theirs ending 15 minutes late, and I don't want to feel rushed for anything on my last day. We can always come back to The Plaza after we ride 7DMT and see what their walkup availability is looking like since they don't take reservations after 12pm anyway.

yours says 35 for me. mine says 33. more ocd issues lol
Yours says 40 days for me. LOL

Thank you for the suggestion, much appreciated! I am, sadly, a sinus infection master :rotfl: I have an immune deficiency that means I'm prone to getting them. I've gotten really good at preventive measures to keep myself from getting colds, b/c with me, they can easily become sinus infections. The craziest thing I ever used was a waterpik with a nasal attachment! Like a neti pot on steroids! Lmao. Haven't used that since I was in high school though, since in general I've just gotten so much better about preventing illness, plus I'm not surrounded by a bunch of germy teens, lol. Perfect day for a lazy afternoon on the couch though, we're expecting some rainy/windy conditions to start moving through soon! Love that kind of weather! :cloud9:

So, right now I'm going back over my packing list. I'm trying to decide if I'll be able to manage everything as carry-on only. I've gotten pretty good at packing compactly over the years, lol. I think my biggest concern is ending up with a ton of souvenirs to take home with me! But I think I'll aim for carry-on only travelling down, and then I'll check my bag if I need to on my way home.
Ugh, I used to get so many sinus infections...like 7 or 8 a year! Then about 4 years ago I had surgery to fix my deviated septum and haven't had any since then! :)

That's why I figured I'd ask lol. Oh well !

I'm thinking of dropping my CP dinner for the Plaza...don't want to feel so rushed. Wish we could get a better estimate of wait times. Was reading reviews on trip advisor. Most said the wait wasn't bad ..10-20 minutes, but one review said 35 minutes, and one said 90...hope that was an exaggeration!

I bet it depends on time of day . . . 4pm-ish is kind of small off time. I would not be surprised at longer waits at prime meal times.

4pm might work...besides, I'm waiting with a 20 year old...I'm sure she wouldn't mind shopping nearby while we wait for a table! And, we are having our first dinner at H&V...don't know if I can handle another character buffet. Decisions, decisions. Might sit on the reservation for a bit...could even wait until H&V and see how much we like it.

Is this trip with kids? If not I'd be disinclined to do so many character meals. Some adults love them , but up to you are just ok on them I'd pick someplace else .

We are going the Halloween zoo event in Boston tomorrow too!!! :) I can't wait!! ..have fun!!
. And I'm just popping in to say hi. I can't stick around! I'm too busy stuffing my face with Halloween candy and shopping on etsy. I tried. I really tried to avoid it!!

Hope your family had fun @rasadowski! I'm falling over laughing thinking of you stuffing your face with candy and becoming addicted to Etsy because that's pretty much what happens once you start! :rotfl: Did you fall in love with anything in particular? And I've been meaning to ask how are those renovations coming? :badpc: And I'm talkin' house here, not Disney plans. ;)

We went to our local zoo today that had Zoo Boo as well. When we were waiting in the long food line we got to talking to the family in front of us and it turns out they are huge fans of Disney as well. They are DVC members and go a lot. They have already seen some of the new stuff and will be there again around Christmas.

Must have been a zoo sorta day!! Hope your crew had a great time! It's fun randomly bumping into Disney fans when out and about. :) Did they share anything that hasn't been covered here? Hard to believe that's even a possibility! haha But you never know! Or was there anything they mentioned being particularly wow'd by? :hyper:

My hat is off to you @Mrs. Inc and @DisneyBelle27 for your time spent teaching. :worship: Years of volunteering in my kids' schools has given me a huge appreciation for the heroes teachers truly are! :teacher:

I'm feeling the urge to do a little cheer with all the great news about ADRs, transfer success, and desired FP scores!! :cheer2: I see several people got things they were looking for!! It's equally thrilling every single time it happens!! That kind of thrill just never loses its jump-for-joyness!! :tigger: Cheers to resolved IT problems, light-up necklaces, and cute t-shirts!! Wow, this weekend has been EXCITING!! Congrats to all!!

Well, you haven't met my twenty year old...she's a big kid at heart!!
H&V was her only request--a huge minnie mouse fan.. I grabbed the CP ressie when I saw it a couple of nights ago, but I am definitely having second thoughts. I like the feeling of having a reservation in the plan, but SC is NOT her kind of food, and LTT is too much like home (we live in Virginia, home of Thomas Jefferson, Williamsburg, etc, and many a field trip was to a colonial museum)...She doesn't care to eat at CRT...fancy food and she is not a princess person. We are eating at BOG and TTS on Tuesday...so my options are limited on Thursday...I do think the Plaza will be best...just hate to drop CP in case I change my mind.

Plus, the Plaza has milkshakes...her fave!

Headed to Michael's tomorrow!!!
I went to Michael's after Home Depot, but didn't see any there. They did have some really cool things there too!

Got some Disney things done today. Ordered our custom Harry Potter shirts on Etsy, ordered my SDFP magic bands, bought some things for our resort window decorations, and started my packing list.

One thing I've been wrestling with a little bit is our Cali Grill dinner. So that day (12/7) we're going to US/IOA for the day. Park closes at 7, so we'll stop by the room at AoA to freshen up, then Uber over to Contemporary for our 9:30 ADR. We'll likely just order some apps and dessert; pretty sure I'll be hangry if I wait that late for dinner but we've never been able to get a Cali ADR so we're excited to see Wishes from that view! Anyway, I'm really not sure what to wear. I know MK has late hours that night and I want the option of heading over to MK after the fireworks and our ADR, so I want to look appropriate but also be able to potentially tour MK afterwards. DH will probably change into a polo shirt, shorts, and sneakers. I have no idea what to wear myself though...especially footwear because I really think that shoes tie an outfit together. I don't want to look like a slob, but I also want to be comfortable! Suggestions?

It was a second grader of mine that called me "Mrs. Incredible" when the movie first came out...so cute! Thus the avatar
