***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

@Candycane83

Bahahahahaha, we won't be able to go incognito much. It isn't hard to spot us! :rotfl:
We're pretty much the Clampetts.:rotfl2::faint:

@SilSprBea

I know we booked the jibjab dessert party, however when the reviews come rolling in, and they're meh, I won't hesitate to cancel. In all honestly, our girls are probably too young for it anyway. It's a pricey little booger too.
What date did u book jibjab for? ;)

Awesome! Thanks! I was hoping to catch it on the way out and was hoping it's a short show so DH and DS do not get impatient :rolleyes:

Can I ask how long did you stake out the parade viewing for mnsshp? I'm really on the fence about this dessert party because of the wishes viewing but thought the parade viewing looked really good.
I considered it for the parade viewing as well, but when I looked at the cost, and the "meh" desserts, for me it wasn't worth it. Especially because I'm ok staking out a primo spot where I can see the parade *and* the fireworks :)

Thank you both! I found my BOG in separate reservations for 12/6 but shouldn't matter since it's QS PPO. I'm good with what I have (I think). :) you guys are really the best! :grouphug:

@Candycane83 werent you also looking for a Chef Mickey on 12/6 since your other ppo one got messed up, or an remembering wrong? @BDFmom you are looking for ppo BOG 12/6, right? I thought i remembered this from this am but this thread moves so fast I'm confused!

I'm not @Wood Nymph , however to get a good viewing spot, and for the first parade, 45 minutes at least. That may even be cutting it close if you want to be on Main Street.

Your memory is great! I was like looking but decided to keep chef Mickey's at 12/10 even if I don't make RD and do BOG PPO on 12/6 where I'm sure they won't move the hours... might try to look for Crystal palace instead for 12/6 but 12/12 hasn't changed hours yet so I'll stay put for now! Thanks so much!! :hug:

11/30! I believe you'll still be in USF at that time?

Another cool thing, I talked to DH again regarding the use and flexibility that comes with a rental car. I went ahead and looked on the transportation board and found an amazing coupon (look under the December 2016 price thread...lots of great coupons!) and got a full size sedan for $175! It's through Alamo, and we've already just completed online check in. All we need to do is going pick out the car, show our CC and DL to the attendant at the booth and we are on our way! So, in light of that, we cancelled the minivan through Costco.

43 days folks!

This morning I was still stalking a PPO BOG on 12/6..... A Disney fever grabed me by the afternoon and booked EMM for that day.
I no longer need the PPO... I just went and bought one and took all the stress away.

I do so appreciate you stalking! :flower3:

I think we got to our spot in Town Square about 20 minutes or more before the start of the parade. We were there in time to see the Headless Horseman ride past. There were a lot of good spots to watch the parade. I like that area because the parade has to go around the circle, so you can see it longer. And it isn't too crowded. But we did stand. If you want to sit on the curb you might need to get there a little earlier.

Yes USF for me then. I'll add your name to the list for Lisa :)

That's great about the car! :cheer2:

I booked the dessert party earlier but have not decided if I'm cancelling or not.

I know! The car is a bargain. Last year, we spent almost $350 for the same car. It pays to keep checking prices for the car!

We also had a great spot to watch the fireworks, right in front of Casey's in the hub area. It was nice because the fireworks were almost perfectly centered and everyone in our section stayed seated. :)

No dessert parties for us this time, but we have MVMCP on 12/6 and unless I change my mind again, 5:00 CP on 12/7. :)

Our other extras are a sleigh ride at Fort Wilderness on 12/4 and the Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour on 12/10. :D

Looks like we are stalking you! We have MVMCP on the 6th and 5:00 CP on the 7th also :santa:
