Here's what I see with that list: No stress of trying to get everything done, no paying extra money for something you can kinda get included with on-site stays (emm vs. emh), and no paying $60 for a cupcake and a special place to stand for a show. You're going to have a great time and look at all the money you're saving!

This stuff is all extras. We're doing EMM and the mvmcp, and I'm excited about them! but I can almost guarantee that the girls favorite things will be riding the haunted mansion and seeing any kinds of fireworks. Those things will be the most memorable.

From when I was little, one of my favorite memories is the old Mexico ride... And the biergarten dinner show. Sometimes less is more.

I am so glad you said that about biergarten! I can't wait to try this with kiddo.

I saw that post too. I'm starting to think it's quickly becoming a long shot to be up and running before 2017. Trying to stay positive though. Because I've also seen posts about expected soft openings in the next 2 weeks and that time it was briefly showing up on website as a dining package at Flame Tree (even though that seemed to be from last year).

Plus a crap load of OOP dining just because my butt didn't get this big eating salads!!

It's going to be filled with awe and magic!

I think these boards create alot of pressure making people feel like they have to add things. But that simply is not true. The beat moments are unplanned and free!

Isn't that the truth?! One of my favorite moments from our last trip was when dd6 was given a "rabbit" fashioned out of a washcloth by a cm while we were waiting for our Boma reservation. Totally spontaneous, totally sweet! She named it snowball and still has it in her room.

I think all those things would be fun but I didn't know about EMM when I picked my MK days and wasn't willing to rearrange to make it work. And I'm not sure of how my kids will be at nighttime after a day of early starts and so much activity so I didn't want to commit to any pricey nighttime activities. We have so many fun plans already with at least one character meal per day which will probably be better for their ages this year anyway.

I have EMM, dessert parties, MVMCP, and pirates and pals cruise on the list for the next trip. My husband doesn't know this yet but I'll be pushing to book one of the rebound specials disney offers for next year. Then the kids will be older and we'll hopefully feel better about more evening activities!

yes if it's not fun for the kids it's fun for no one! The parties will be going on a long time, it's just something to look forward to for next time. They are in prime character meal time now so it's great you can take advantage of that. I've done tons of disney trips without anything more special than going and believe me they are plenty special!

Yes.... We need spots for @Iowamomof4 , @Mintycake for the dessert party. I think @Talby was also planning on the party (hope she got tickets)... I think i saw some else that was also considering 12/3.

I still can't believe that it sold out so quickly!!! When I saw the frenzy I messaged my TA to book. I was at work and would not have been able to hold on the phone for so long. She got right on the case for me and 2 other clients that are going during the same time periods but for different dates.
