I've heard (well read) that the event has been so popular the plan is to offer it after Halloween as well. It Is only a rumor but it has been being offered on Fridays and Saturdays for a couple of months already.

I went ahead and opted for the EMM on 12/4. The $209 was a tough pill to swallow, but ended up canceling our Akershus reservation to offset most of the cost.
My thought process was the following:

• Free breakfast probably about $40 value for 2 adults 1 kid
• Based off our weekend this Summer at Cedar Point, know DD4 will love SDMT. If we didn't do this probably would only be able to ride once via FP+
• Being in the park early will let us get a good start without battling rope drop crowd. Can hit Cinderella, Ariel, Rapunzel right at 9AM now to make up for missing Akershus

any sitdown buffet non-character breakfast ranges for $55 (trail's end) to $63 (everything else) with tax for 2 adults and one child.

All reviews seem pretty positive about it and I think it will be fun to be able to ride with barely any crowds. Since it's our first full day, a little worried it might create unreasonable expectations for the rest of the trip...

hey if you need to justify something you've come to the right place! but yes I would seriously value the breakfast higher lol. an in park breakfast is more but you have characters so not sure how to value that. but an in park breakfast is closer to $75. and i think that price includes gratuity so $55 = $65 with tip and $63 = $75 with tip.

We actually value the breakfast higher because it does NOT have characters. lol

I thought about that! But I'm thinking since it's just kept to the three rides it'll be fine. Or I'll just really have to be clear that today is a very special welcome morning

I have all of this (3 nights at Universal) and much, much more dining (DxDP) plus waiting for SW dessert party

Seriously though, I think Memory Maker is fantastic especially when you want everyone in the picture! ADRs are all part of the experience. MVMCP... it's Christmas! No further explanation needed! and Universal... I'm a Harry Potter fan

I just switched for AOA to POP bc I've had a few unexpected and annoying expenses and POP saves me some bucks bc it's included in the holiday sales. We have stayed at POP before and it is fine and we can walk to aoa food court.

I keep checking for Crystal Palace or chef Mickeys ADR for 6 ppl....rrrrr, so frustrating. Hoping one will open eventually. I love love love the puffed French toast at crystal Palace (in the kids section, but whatever). Anyone know if any other characters breakfasts have that?

When are you looking for Chef Mickey? I posted I have one to drop, but its not at normal breakfast time. It's 12/10 at 12:55pm and it is for 6! Don't know if that date worked for you.
