***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Mine can't say that yet so I should probably do that now while he can't complain. :rotfl: I did drag DH to CRT on our last trip but he was not too impressed so i can't include it in my plans this time.
We went on our first anniversary back in 2005 for lunch, and took my little cousins. It was nice, but it was so long ago I'd love to go back and maybe take a little more time relaxing and eating instead of rushing out to another ride.

LOL, I was thinking about that and since MVMCP is not much more than EMM, I'm going with a second MVMCP if ever... maybe... EMM still does sound nice though... I don't know Lisa, I'm also undecided but since it's not available yet, I'll wait...

EDIT: Just to add, I think breakfast comes with EMM so not sure Ohana breakfast would be a good idea. :)

Although....looking at it from that point of view--MVMCP not being much more than EMM...oh boy. It's times like this that I really dislike being as indecisive as I am! Not a good trait to have for planning and, unfortunately, I have it in spades! lol

I know what you mean... I'd probably be rich now if I got a dollar for every time I changed my mind on planning this trip! LOL :)

breakfast does come with EMM yes.

right now I have 12/6 9:35 Ohana day off until 4:30 H&V
12/8 10:00am Boma day off until 3:30 Ohana then MVMCP

I would do 12/6 EMM day off until 4:30 H&V
12/8 10:50 Ohana day off until 3:30 Ohana then MVMCP

I would love to add another MVMCP but my evenings are already full. the ONLY time I have room is in the mornings.

Yes, the auto train is very expensive if you get the sleeper rooms, which is a must with 2 kids. But we don't really like to fly. And we like to buy lots of souvenirs and like having the car. I've done it twice. Once was on the way down and it was perfect and on time. The 2nd time we used it to get home from Disney and we were terribly late and missed my daughters orientation for school. So this time our Sunday is completely free.

Ah that makes sense now! :) I think it may be a good idea to get more MK time. :) You have a bit of time to decide before it gets released anyway. What's the cancellation policy on EMM?

I would love an earlier than 10:50 Ohana but I wonder if I'd get seated earlier if I showed up more like 10. IF you are going to have a late breakfast, Ohana is probably the better one since there is so much less variety it will be less tempting to overdo it. but only 4.5 hours between breakfast and ohana dinner? with a normal portioned breakfast that would be just about right i guess. We'd live at ohana that day lol

i THINK though that my plan has enough MK time in it. I should be able to get 7DMT and PP and Pooh FPs because my MK time is spread out over a few days. We are hoping to close down the party too. Still torn on early vs. late parade for the party. I know the late parade is less busy but also I think a lot of families take off after fireworks so rides are going to be less busy as well. The flow feels better doing parade, fireworks and then hitting the rides for another couple of hours and closing down the park.

Hmm, that was like my Garden Grill and H&V plan, LOL! I do think you need an earlier time though since they are notorious for being late.

You're right about your MK plans... I think you do have enough... I have enough too... But still... it seems like a good idea still... LOL!

@JainaAlice :welcome:

Whoa!!!! 45 new messages!!!

Did I miss something.... is EMM out?? (I'm anxiously waiting for it ). It it does not come out I'll use that $$ for a second MVMCP.

I guess I'm in the minority with my teen DS wanting to go to CRT, but we've never been there. I hope they still give my DD and DS the wishing stars and sword (eventho they are both over 12).

I've tried to involve them both in the picking of the TS in order to avoid not wanting to go. They are both very excited with our current ADRs. I think we have a really nice mixture of places.

I would love to be able to fit more things into our schedule --- HDDR or Spirit of Aloha, an Illuminations cruise, more MVMCP, Wild Africa Trek. I just have to keep telling myself --- you CAN'T do everything in 10 days. And we do need some rest. I currently only have one 1/2 rest scheduled into our plans. But our evening plans are very flexible most days.

Also, reservation cancellation tip.... you can 'change' you reservation the same day. Change it to any day in the future .... and then cancel. It's a work around to the $10 per head fee.:rolleyes1

'Ohana is notorious for running late....

I sometimes welcome those sorts of things (only having mornings, for example) because they force my hand one way or the other and make the decision for me! It's when there are too many options that I start with my vacillation and head spinning. One of the things I find appealing about EMM is a non-crowded MK. I've just never seen it that way; no PPOs in the past or on this trip and I really want to experience that. :-) That might not be part of the draw to others though. That priority thing again. :-)

I should stick with my plan. not a morning person. 9:35am ohana sounds good, then over to DS for some shopping and maybe swimming then dinner at H&V and F!. it is a pretty low key day, no real park touring.

Last time I went to CRT kiddo was 6 months old. He screamed himself to sleep when we were waiting for dinner so I ate my dinner like this:

maybe that is why he won't go there now!

here's how cute he was:

that was also the trip of the yak & yeti incident!
