How fun that you ran into Kari!

Nice! Hope it was a good cruise.I just got back from a quick 3-night cruise on the Wish
I see shorts and T-shirts... but too cold for your mom.
I keep hearing mixed reviews.Fun ride...definitely not as good as Splash but still fun.
Huh! I'm not sure I've heard of this. I of course know about the dinner, but didn't know about brekkie.we had breakfast at 'Ohana to get to.
Sure looks it.This bread is incredible![]()
We definitely went through a couple trays of these...
Glad she got a hug in.![]()
At the time Ava was a huge Stitch fan
Good to hear! I'd heard so many bad reviews over the last few years, it's nice to finally be hearing some positive ones.everything was so delicious, we all loved it.
Mike's favorite part of any breakfast...
Nice.I think that's one of the reasons I liked this breakfast so much was that the characters
weren't in a huge rush and we were able to get lots of cute pics.
Wonderful! DIS meets are great, but an unexpected one is maybe even better. After breakfast we headed back to the Magic Kingdom and while I was walking through the tunnel I hear, "Kelly?"
I turned around to see the famous Kari @katstoney!
Unfortunately, I didn't know she wrote there, but I am familiar with her (screen) name. Some of you will for sure remember her from here because she wrote the best, funniest reports on the Dis in the Dining Reports section!
I was lucky enough to be her roomie on our EPIC Dis-meetup trip in 2019 and she is just as kind and funny in real life.
Quick! Especially as it looks like the line stretches outside.it took us about 6 minutes
with our LL to board our Pirate ship...
Really!Clay loved this...if I recall correctly, he likes it better than Cosmic Rewind which I think is crazy!
I like it well enough but it's really just too short of a ride.

Some day...
I think the dinner gets bad reviews now mostly because for years it was so good...definitely has declined in the last few years.Good to hear! I'd heard so many bad reviews over the last few years, it's nice to finally be hearing some positive ones.
Yes, his favorite! Was that a Bloody Mary?
I don't spend too much time there but I am so happy I found her there years ago. Truly made me LOL reading!Unfortunately, I didn't know she wrote there, but I am familiar with her (screen) name.

Welcome back! I hope you had an amazing trip!!I’m here just getting back into everyday life after my end of summer trip with Andi.
I'll have to try that! The frozen Rose is really good there.
That is so cool! I follow him on Tik Tok and he seems so sweet. I've never met him before, maybe someday!I also love WBG and you had all my favorites. I have had the chicken salad at WBG and George himself delivered it to me at brunch! He is super nice!
She's cold when it's 90 degrees outside!
Probably not for a few years yet.Soon I hope??
Last review I read was good. Hopefully it’s back on track.I think the dinner gets bad reviews now mostly because for years it was so good...definitely has declined in the last few years.
I love that. Seeing her so excited about HM warms my heart.Everyone went on Haunted Mansion...I thought this pic looked so funny!
I have no idea what she was pointing at but it looks like his nose!
Of course. We stopped for some group shots on Main Street, of course...
I miss the burgers there.Around 4:30 we went to Pecos Bill's for dinner...always a favorite of mine.
A fun time was had by all!
We ended our amazing day as all amazing days should end...Happily Ever After.
Second, we like to sit and watch HEA beyond the crowds and even though the view is not as good from here as it is from the garden, we like to have seats to sit and relax.
Clearly nobody was paying attention or wanted to stop for a pic here

Yum.The chocolate covered strawberries are always a favorite.
Me too… and, me too!We have done this party a few times and really enjoy it.
I mean… how hard would it be to throw a few pretzels out???My one complaint is that they don't have enough savory foods...I know, I know...it's a dessert party,
Yay!!! How fun to run into each other unplanned!!
I really like Tron, too, but it is SO stinkin' short!!! I STILL have not been on Cosmic Rewind--seriously!?!!! I will finally get to ride in December (I certainly hope so anyway!) then I can compare them more fairly LOLClay loved this...if I recall correctly, he likes it better than Cosmic Rewind which I think is crazy!
I like it well enough but it's really just too short of a ride.
I'm looking at booking this one for December! Do they assign the tables, or are you able to just pick your own when you get there? We've done the garden view one, as well as the post-fireworks party, but I hate being squashed in with all the other people. I'm thinking having seats sounds way more enjoyable. One last thing--are the treats and drinks available throughout the fireworks? Or just beforehand?we like to sit and watch HEA beyond the crowds and even though the view is not as good from here as it is from the garden, we like to have seats to sit and relax.
I miss the Southwest chicken salad with all the fixins' but the new menu is pretty good. Still the best option for QS dinner in the MK.I miss the burgers there.
Exactly!I mean… how hard would it be to throw a few pretzels out???
Howwwww???I really like Tron, too, but it is SO stinkin' short!!! I STILL have not been on Cosmic Rewind--seriously!?!!!
You better! And I want a full comparison!!I will finally get to ride in December (I certainly hope so anyway!) then I can compare them more fairly LOL
You pick your own table and people (me included!) tend to get there early to line up. But I do think there are plenty of good seats!I'm looking at booking this one for December! Do they assign the tables, or are you able to just pick your own when you get there?
Same...and I am not a "ground-sitter." At my age it's too uncomfortable and rough getting back up!We've done the garden view one, as well as the post-fireworks party, but I hate being squashed in with all the other people.
Available throughout! We are usual done by the time they start...except for Mike who really takes advantage of the beer! I don't recall seeing Miller Lite there though! Mike always drinks Blue Moon at these thingsOne last thing--are the treats and drinks available throughout the fireworks? Or just beforehand?
The Savor, Sips, and Sparkle at CG at CR was a game changer for us, I would do that again, it was wonderful.
I love POFQ and boat travel is always my 1st choice! After walking around checking out the resort (which only took about 5 minutes since it's so small) we took the boat down the Sassagoula to Disney Springs. By far, this is the superior way to arrive to DS, beating bus, car and rideshare.
Yum!We got the
House-Made Meatballs
triple cheese polenta / tomato sauce
Yummy!Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites
Yummier!Artisanal Cheese Board
Yummiest!Burrata with heirloom tomatoes / fresh corn / local sourdough
Les Halles is the best! BUT do they use French butter in their pastries? After our ride we headed to my favorite QS in EPCOT...
Great idea!We had gotten the DDP for the one night stay and used it for WBG and then we had 2 QS meals left for this day so we ended up sharing a meal and also shared a Mimosa which I normally would not have gotten but was delicious...
Well that sounds amazing! Shades of the lovely CG brunch.Mike and I have that Parisian Brunch reserved for our upcoming trip in October and I hope it's just as good as this...I have seen some pretty good reviews so far which is encouraging.
Oh Daisy! This was the next picture in my roll and judging by Allie's face, Daisy had gotten herself into some trouble back home!![]()
They are huge slices. I always get the kids pizza deal here with cuties and a drink. It's a great deal.We shared an order of Pepperoni Pizza and Mike got a beer because it came with it. I think this is a pretty good way to use a QS dining credit and it's definitely shareable since the slices are huge and you get two of them!
Sweet!Mike and I finished up our dinner and then we ran to Publix for some snacks and waters for the room on the way to the airport to pick them up. I have zero pictures from the rest of this night but I did get a good video coming back to WDW!
Please still exist in 2029!!!!The Parisian Breakfast at Chefs de France is only available for a limited time on Fridays and Saturdays starting September 5, 2025—during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
Tiana's is so charming. We left off on Big Thunder Mountain and since we had Boarding Group 3 for Tiana's we headed right over there. Mike, my mom and Ava weren't quite ready to go on...well Mike never goes on, my mom is always freezing so won't go on if it's not super warm out, and Ava wasn't sure about going on...they all did something else and I have no idea what!
I have so many sweet memories of Ohana breakfasts with my boys.At the time Ava was a huge Stitch fan which is why I made this reservation but everything was so delicious, we all loved it.
Yay!!!!!After breakfast we headed back to the Magic Kingdom and while I was walking through the tunnel I hear, "Kelly?"
I turned around to see the famous Kari @katstoney!
Love that!Neither one of us had any idea the other would be there so it was hilarious that we ran into each other there! We had a quick chat because we were rushing off to our LLs and she and her family were leaving the park,
but it was so good to see an old friend![]()
How can anyone like anything better than Guardians?Clay loved this...if I recall correctly, he likes it better than Cosmic Rewind which I think is crazy!
Cute!Everyone went on Haunted Mansion...I thought this pic looked so funny!
I have no idea what she was pointing at but it looks like his nose!
The Southwest salad is back??????Around 4:30 we went to Pecos Bill's for dinner...always a favorite of mine.
Now I'm jealous......Next it was time to start heading towards our check-in for the HEA Dessert Party....
Yes they are.The chocolate covered strawberries are always a favorite.
What a perfectly delightful day. I'm happy just reading about it!Such a great day from start to finish.
The weather had been perfect this whole day but that would soon come to an end
as Milton inched his way closer to us!
I need to know about this...I've wanted to do it forever. Another thing to add to my list one day.The Savor, Sips, and Sparkle at CG at CR was a game changer for us, I would do that again, it was wonderful.
I will be reviewing it soon in my TR, it was amazing and not much more than the seats and treats!I need to know about this...I've wanted to do it forever. Another thing to add to my list one day.
RIght?! It's been open for years, what is even wrong with me!Howwwww???
Promise!!You better! And I want a full comparison!!
LOL, my reputation proceeds me! When we've done it in the past, I usually go with Blue Moon, too. Bud Light is just NOT my thing--I wish they'd switch! That would definitely make the cost even more worth it though...and easier to convince Rob. Ha! Thanks for the details!Available throughout! We are usual done by the time they start...except for Mike who really takes advantage of the beer! I don't recall seeing Miller Lite there though! Mike always drinks Blue Moon at these things![]()
Unless you want that burger.I miss the Southwest chicken salad with all the fixins' but the new menu is pretty good. Still the best option for QS dinner in the MK.
