***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

the free dining stuff still seems to have a major impact early in the week :-/ with people checking in as late as 11/28

I guess I'm just happy I got a regular lunch reservation, maybe I can change it to F! Pkg when I arrive. I've heard that some people are able to do that.

I know it is not ideal, but if you have the patience, I would just keep trying! People drop ADRs all the time! I booked my first trip at 120 days when I had no idea what I was doing. As the time went by, I was able to get great times for a CRT breakfast, BoG dinner, Le Cellier, California Grill, 'Ohana, etc.

I got really lucky my FastPass+ 60 days out week!

Wow you guys are really tempting me to do a Fantasmic package LOL. I think we have too much already on our HS day...Sci Fi, 50s Prime Time and Hollywood and Vine breakfast. I'd have to drop one of them. How hard is Fantasmic to FP later in the day?
my daughter now says she wants to do Jedi training as long as we don't have to line up for the sign up. I told her that's why we're going to PPO H&V. She said that was cool. LOL
And how nuts am I, I am now holding a Beaches and Cream, Il Mulino and Tepan Edo reservation for our date night. I also have Teppan Edo the day before for us as a family. Some people say it's really good and they have plain rice and veggie options and so my daughter will be able to eat the food there. Plus it's entertainment. Anyone try it?

Honestly I'm not a huge Fantasmic! fan. (Don't hurt me). I'm on the DDP and the thought of getting a app with our meal is really what's pushing me to get the F! pkg.

For fantasmic I think the difference between fastpass and a package is that you still have to wait in line for the fastpass... Also it's tier 1 so if you're using FP for TSMM, then you would have to check for availability at the end of the day?

That's what I was thinking. On the dining plan it's an AWESOME value at Mama Melrose (We're still debating the dining plan as we finalize everything else...but right now it's not looking like we'll get it. We'll see). DD has never seen Fantasia so I'm not sure if she'll have the patience at the end of a long day to sit through a show. Also we would much rather do SW Fireworks and I understand it's a little tricky to do both.

On a different note, you guys, I just saw a video walkthrough of the Royal Sommerhaus (A&E M&G) and I started tearing up. DD loves Frozen and the CM playing "Anna" (DD's favorite princess) was SO GOOD! I am going to have total waterworks going on when she meets Anna because she is just going to love it so much. http://wdwnt.com/blog/2016/06/photo...cter-meet-and-greet-opens-in-norway-at-epcot/

you don't have to drop, just change H&V to package instead of non. I think they do it with breakfast? or just lunch?

For Fantasmic and Star Wars fireworks, I think that you could sit more to the top and leave a little before the show finishes. I don't know how your DD is after a long day but mine might not be happy after a full day so we plan a break right before dinner.. It could go both ways, your DD might take it as a rest period before fireworks? :) if you are planning to watch it or just maximize the dining plan then I think it's a good idea if you could get it and it wouldn't really matter either way since it's one credit.

Aww, I would love to see this... I'm wishing I could drag DH and DS2 to this but it's not probable unless there is virtually no line (not happening)

I thought they do it for all three but more expensive than regular price. Unless you have the dining plan which in that case it doesn't matter.

How is it a fireworks package if it's lunch or bfast? Wouldn't they only package fireworks with dinner?
not fireworks. Fantasmic, which is a seated show. You get priority seating for the first show of the night with some meal reservations.

Fireworks are not packaged with dinner (yet?) ... but you can buy extra separate dessert parties for viewing them.

Sorry I just checked and I think it is just for lunch and dinner for h&v. It starts at 11am.

Jungle Book package includes Tusker house for breakfast. I was getting confused by this.

Hoping RoL does too. Yeah that's why I thought H&V might include it too. 3 meals is a lot in one day! If @Mintycake wants to do the F! package I'd do early lunch (sill with disney jr. characters) and pick one of sci fi or 50's prime time for dinner.

Oh! For some reason I thought Fantasmic was a fireworks show. Wow, I'm out of it lately. :/
So does Fantasmic run during the day?

I agree especially because you can't really get the F! package for breakfast. With her current plan of PPO and if she's doing OOP for her meals, I think 3 meals is doable. Just share for lunch if you just want to experience the restaurant :)

There's only one or two shows at night. In December it's usually around 7 or 7:30? There is also an8:30showing some days last year but I don't see that in the schedule yet this year. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
