***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Okay. I need to tighten up my plans and so will be dropping ADRs. Please let me know if anyone wants them - if not I'll post them in the cancellation thread tomorrow. Also I'm still debating the dining plan as well...so I'll note a list after the main one of ADRs that I am still debating.

12/3 - 12:40pm 50s Prime Time for 3 people

12/4 - 8:10am BOG for 3 people
11:50am Tony's Town Square Festival of Fantasy lunch package for 3 people

12/5 - 7:10pm Tokyo Dining for 3 people

12/6 - 5:35pm Flying Fish dinner for 2 people (was going to do for date night but changed our minds)
6:00pm Beaches and Cream for 2 people
8:20pm 1900 Park Fare for 4 people

12/7 - 9:35am and 10:55am 'Ohana for 4 people
5:25pm Skippers Canteen for 3 people
9:05pm Narcoosees for 3 people

12/8 - 7:30am 'Ohana for 3 people

Still debating dropping:
12/3 - 12:25pm Mama Melrose F! pkg for 3 people. It's a great deal on the DDP but I also have an 8:05 H&V breakfast and I wonder if we just won't be hungry enough for this

12/5 - 4:15pm Teppan Edo for 3 people. Again, great deal if I get DDP. But I plan to take an afternoon break from Epcot and come back later so I think this might be too early so I'd either have to move it if I can later or just drop it all together.

12/6 - Akershus! I have three of these! 8:25am, 10:50am, and 1:25pm. If I get DDP I would likely keep the lunch but if not I will keep a breakfast. I am just wondering how valuable the 8:25am is because if the ride breaks down, the FP line might be crazy. Wondering if extra insurance to RD or not, but leaning towards dropping the 8:25am.

Submitted my Amazon order for the sling bag and Christmas Vacation t-shirt this morning, and just ordered the 9 items in my Etsy cart! I contacted Disney guest services and was told "Your reservation was reserved through a travel agency and as such cannot be altered or accessed except by a member of that agency. She's independent so there is no one to call. If she doesn't get her act together I may not be seeing any of you at Disney come December. Boohoo!

I am so sorry about this It is SOOO frustrating!! I wonder if there is any way to cancel it and rebook it through Disney I would be harassing the s*** out of this woman...(excuse my stars, but we've been following your stories, and this would just be the last straw for me)

That really sucks! Really so sorry to hear that. Have you tried following up with her again?

EDIT: I think the problem with cancelling on her is you might not get your deposit back?

I can't remember from reading before. Is she in your area locally? Because if you can, I'd be marching my patootie to somebody's house/office/job and letting them have the hugest piece of my mind. That is unacceptable! I don't know enough about TA's to know, is there any kind of better business bureau or something you can report her to? I am enraged on your behalf!

Oh man, I'm getting really frustrated for you and it's not even my reservation! Sympathy frustration? Crossing my fingers that she gets back to you really soon and you get this resolved! And I'm with @Mal6586 if she is local to you I'd be marching over there in person.

You have GOT to take control of this situation. She is holding your vacation hostage right now and that isn't right at ALL! Stop worrying about offending her because being nice hasn't worked out so far. I think you need to advocate for yourself now and make her stop ignoring the job you hired her to do. Yes, it is time to be a major thorn in her side. You can do it!

This is just horrible and unacceptable behavior! You even paid extra for her concierge services.
After she pays your trip off I would definitely report her to Disney and the BBB.
If you try to cancel rebook you'll loose any discounts or promotions.

Thank you all for the kind words and pep talks! I sent her another note just now and will call her tomorrow when she is in the office. She's unfortunately not local, so I can't march over to her office and bug her in person. She was referred to me by a good friend of mine that's used her twice for Disney planning and she has done a great job for her.

I don't think cancelling and re-booking is an option either. It's my reservation and my best friends reservation that are both being held hostage right now. And, POR is full so I don't think we could cancel/re-book two royal rooms even if we wanted to. We didn't have any discounts on this trip so I wouldn't lose out on that, but my tickets are tied to my package, so if my package went away, I think my tickets and fast passes would likely go away too, right? I can't wait for this TA nightmare to be over!

OK, I need everyone's opinion here, lol. Whining at poor @JamieOak on FB right now.

So in my incessant searching I just came up with a 5:20 at Sanaa on our arrival day. I have 6:45 booked so I grabbed that one too.

we are up a bit before 5am for the flight, landing at 10am. So say everything goes perfectly smoothly and we are at the MK somewhat before 12pm. My 3 booked FP+ are:
12:55-1:55 space mountain
1:55-2:55 7dmt
2:55-3:55 peter pan

do we:
1) keep trying for a BoG lunch around 12:30, leave the park around 5:45 for a 6:45 Sanaa ADR (I will have a car)
2) just go somewhere quick and give up on BoG... just because we don't know when we will ACTUALLY arrive and we will probably be hungry and might want to eat right away. what if we get there more like 11:30? what if we miss our ADR? and keep Sanaa 6:45 ADR
3) just eat somewhere quick and kind of light... like get the kid some corn dog nuggets at caseys on the way in, try the spicy chicken and waffle for me, maybe some milk shakes or something (we have to get our ice cream in!) right when we get there and then leave at 4:15 or so for a 5:20 Sanaa

I am planning to put kid to bed his normal time which is 8:30, maybe as late as 9, for a normal time wake up (6:00-6:30, I prefer 6:30 but he might be up earlier) for AK EMH the next day. So obviously the 5:20 dinner will work a bit better with that. our normal dinner time is 6pm but it is not normally a 3 course restaurant dinner which takes longer. Also it puts me in Sanaa during daylight hours.

OR are we going to be so excited to be at the MK that we won't want to be leaving so early at 4:15 and want to stay another hour and a half or so to play and then have dinner, relax a bit, go to bed. I would probably leave around 5:30 in that case and maybe show up for Sanaa about 6:30.
