***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

You can book a reservation without you in it! I did this for my friend from the website (not MDE). You can change the primary contact to some adult other than yourself. I couldn't do it from MDE.

Thank you @candycane83 and @SilSprBea !! But this is so dumb of me ... I've only booked an ADR through the phone or MDE. Where else can I book it?

edit: ok, I actually went on MDE and tried to book an ADR, on my account, and I didn't even notice that it let me change the person that was going to be managing the reservation. I was able to change it to my dad, because my parents' reservation is linked to mine...I wonder if it will allow me to book the dessert party that way @Candycane83? I know this is my problem, so I'm just really thinking out loud here

I think it should! When I booked mine for three for hoop dee doo and had four people in my friends and family list (I have one phantom), it made me choose who was going. I think for prepaid events it will prompt you to do this so it knows how much to charge you?

I swear I got nothing disney done today because I kept getting distracted by other disney stuff.

It started with making my daily plan template. Well it's not even started, I just searched online for examples and have 4 browser tabs open that I abandoned.
Then I thought to shop on Amazon for window clings. Another 2 browser tabs open with nothing purchased or decided on.
Then I decided I wanted to get my room request ready. Not done, except I noted "top floor". Another 8 browser tabs open.
Someone posted on FB about reserving a sleigh ride in Ft Wilderness, so I went to google that and watched some videos of the Ft wilderness decorations, considered trying to schedule that in and ultimately changed my mind. Another 2 browser tabs open. And Crockett's Tavern added to the list of bar crawl stops for some loaded nachos. But I don't think we'll be there after dark.

Somewhere through all that I "watched" The Little Mermaid 1, 2 and 3. I didn't even know there was a sequel, let alone 2 of them!

I dub this the day of not finishing anything...

I have a super solid plan now. Live in NC and getting soaked by Hurricane Matthew. We are lucky we haven't lost power. We have watch movies and I have way too much time to read. Either way only 54 more days to go.

DH and I did this last spring, during the flower and garden festival. It was easily one of the best nights. We also may have been the "happiest" people on the bus back.

Not sure if/what anyone is still looking for ADRs but here's a post from 2 minutes ago on the cancellation thread ( that Akershus PPO could be worthwhile for anyone that was unsuccessful scoring a FEA FP+:

"Im so excited!! TP just found me a PPO BOG ADR for our MK day! I've been stalking this ADR since FD dropped. DD will be so happy when I tell her! Figured we will hit 7DMT right after that then maybe try for ETWB."

I remember thinking that this person is obviously happy. But I had absolutely no idea why. The only sentence I understood was the first one.

I have to admit that I almost abandoned this place. Thinking I didn't have the time or energy to learn this new "language"

I had to google and ask a lot when I first found this site too. Now I think I need to stop using acronyms or I will start using the same terms in real life! I love this site for information but it's a little intimidating too, not to mention that there are very 'outspoken' people here (which makes me appreciate this thread all the more)

Pro tip.
We alternative stops. Meaning we would get food at one then a drink and the next. We went around twice. Switching what we got on the 2nd lap. It was good because we got both a food and a drink at every country, but with more time in between.
