I know you guys have all been sharing favorite snack options! I did find the 2014 confirmed snacks thread, which is ginormous but amazing! and I wasn't sure if it was shared here?

I've seen that thread but I'm not sure if anyone has shared it here. there is a food pictures thread too that is amazing and a little more current

Thanks, @rasadkowski. It was a bit of a problem though. Our travel agent went in and did her fast passes and didn't even get her the ride! She claimed that my friends DD wasn't going to ride 7DMT which was never the case. She also gave my friend random things in Animal Kingdom that we didn't have so we only had one Fast pass together. I had to go in and fix everything for our two days together, but we're OK now. I just can't believe we each paid our travel agent for Disney concierge service to take care of our ADRs and fast passes and itineraries. I was just afraid when I booked my trip that I wouldn't know what to do. Oh well, what a waste of money.

I'm sorry to hear about your TA. Sucks a lot that you guys had to pay money and fix/arrange everything yourselves anyway. The silver lining is, at least you know what to do next time and you're the ADR fairy godmother here! For someone who thought she wouldn't know what to do, you sure are a great help to us all here

Yep, you're rockin' it @SilSprBea!!

I started with a TA too. She booked the trip. And that's it. Period. It's been a lot of fun (mostly! haha) learning so much about Disney and the planning side of things. I think our trips will be much better in many ways having done it ourselves.

I just scored an ADR for Holiday Wishes Dessert Party for 12/8! Have been trying to re-schedule this after switching party dates, then dropping based on not-so-positive reviews! I like having options!!

@rasadkowski I did try looking for 6, but it told me there was no availability. LOTS of time for that to change though!!

@areno79 for the Mousekeeping tip! (haha...see what I did there? "tip") That's a really sweet idea and I'm going to follow suit.

I think there will be a lot of cancellations closer to the event @rasadkowski im holding onto mine just as an option, I'm not sold on it. I know @Lisa F is too.

That is so great!!! That must have been so frustrating having had it then canceling! Then wanting it again I've been searching for it throughout the day everyday! It's the last thing I'd like to get there's still time but I'm nervous that there's not that much. Any searching tips? Just random searching, right? And yes! Party of 6 is tough

Just bought an autograph book and t-shirt for my nephew and 2 "drinking around the world showcase" passports for my sister and me. @Lisa F found the awesome shirt on Etsy!!

I've read many stories about the lack of help using a TA for this. I booked with AAA my first trip, but did all the research and booked everything myself. I know there are some people who love to hand the reigns, but there is no way I could do that. I'm glad you were able to get things in order and know you'll have an amazing trip!

You know how you look and look and look, and then suddenly, one day, when you least expect it, you see "AVAILABLE TIMES"?? And there's like...an actual time to select?! And then your eyes sort of bug out and you do a double-take because you can't believe what you're seeing? That's what happened with this party. Although I will say, the last 2 ADRs I've had success with, I just randomly checked and there it was. It wasn't the incessant check-check-checking. More like, Oh, I think I'll just check right now, and there it was. Not that that really means anything! lol I guess it's just a right place/right time sort of thing? But I do think the odds are increased the more you check! And maybe if you have back-up checkers that would increase the odds further.

You guys are great! Spend most of my time on this thread and "week after turkey day shenanigans". Lol Anyway, am checking like crazy for a Sci Fi on 12/1 at anytime. My kids love it there. Have one booked for 11/29, but had to shift a day's plans and you know what happens. A snowball effect! Decided to do the EMM at MK just recently so had to change some things around. All this planning so far ahead and when you try to then change something...yikes! Have been looking on the cancel thread but nothing so far. If anyone can help me out, or sees anything, would be so appreciated! Looking for party of 4 on 12/1.

@rasadkowski There's availability for a party of 2 right now for the 12/8 dessert party. I wonder if you can snatch that up, then add a party of 4 (or 2 more 2s! haha) whenever other availability opens up. Not sure if this is possible, or if it might be easier than a party of 6??

Thank you so very much @Talby! I just picked it up. do you think it's possible to do that? I'm not sure how they'll know to count 2 tickets for the kids though if I find one for 4 .. Also, what do you think... If I find one for 4 will they make me cancel the one for 2?

I'm trying to think this through. It just seems like with a ticketed event like that you could just keep adding guests? Like...I want 4 more, please! I kind of hate to have you call...because, well, REASONS! haha But maybe in this case it's a good idea. ETA: I would hate to steer you wrong for something so special.

Just because one little post isn't enough... I have to say thank you again @Talby for having searched for that for me! I appreciate it so much. I seriously check for the party all day every 5-10 minutes!! I'm hoping this method works, but I just realized it might be an issue with tables. I have no idea! But even so, thank you so much

You can book a reservation without you in it! I did this for my friend from the website (not MDE). You can change the primary contact to some adult other than yourself. I couldn't do it from MDE.
