***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Epcot - I need to spend more time here to figure out my favorites, but I loved watching the performers at the France Pavilion!

Ohhh--I'm so glad you mentioned this! I really need to get up to speed about all that is offered in each country at Epcot, but we are so looking forward to our dedicated WS day! We'll spend varying amounts of time in each country, but France is a biggie for us. My son is taking French in school and he is very enthusiastic about France. Japan is the other big focus simply because my daughter is obsessed with that culture. I've read about the Chinese acrobats and Japanese drummers. I loved @Candycane83's idea (think it was yours!) about a picture with each Santa in each country!! :santa: I just learned about a hedge maze in the UK recently (I think geared for little kids though?--@Candycane83 that might be good for your little guy maybe?). So much to get up to speed on in Epcot, but we sure are excited about it!!

I'm curious...does anyone have a favorite spot for viewing IllumiNations?

Back to the poncho question. I feel like read somewhere that the Disney ponchos they sold in the parks were better than the dollar store disposable ones and lasted quite a bit. Do any of you veterans have any experience with the Disney ponchos they sell on property? Just curious!

Yes I have the hedge maze on my list of 'playgrounds'! I think a few people here mentioned it! If anyone else knows of a favourite place to let your kids loose, please let me know! So far I have Swiss Family Treehouse, Casey's Splash area, Dumbo, UK hedge maze, Boneyard...

Oh I'm curious about spots for Illuminations too. Was thinking about using an FP one night...

I didn't! Thank you for @Talby and @pigletgirl This thread moves so fast, I miss things. Sorry for the duplicate question everyone!
No problem!

I know this has probably been repeated numerous times, but what is everyone's plan for a party day, leading up to MVMCP? The reason I ask, is because I'm struggling with the idea of going to Animal Kingdom prior to Magic Kingdom that night. Perhaps it would be best to either go to Disney Springs or just hang around AKL until it's time to go? Maybe pool time if the weather is right? Thinking out loud here, but also looking to see what each of you has planned! TYVM!

I was thinking about going to MK but only because we're staying at CR... But since we have a late night (EMH at MK the previous night), we might just head to Disney Springs. Now, I'm thinking about taking the boat to WL, checking out the resort then from WL, take the bus to DS, have lunch and head back to CR for rest before the party.

This will be planned resort/pool time for us. I think we may do The Wave for a late breakfast, but then we're just going to hang out at the pool and plan on being at MK at 4:00 on party day. If the weather doesn't cooperate for the pool, I see Disney Springs on our agenda instead. Something pretty low-key as I image we'll stay quite late at the party.:santa:

I'm not doing any parks prior to 4pm because we are using the MVMCP ticket as an extra park day essentially and that is our scheduled sleep-in day. I am planning to have a late lunch at an MK area resort (WL, CR, Poly, GF) and try to time it so we can head straight to MK from there. Before lunch I'm not sure yet. Disney Spring or hang out at the resort.

We are spending our morning shopping at Disney Springs and then having Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian. I didn't want to do anything too strenuous so that I am ready to PARTY HARD! Haha!

I won't let you enter anything outside of the park hours. I tried entering EMM too! So instead I just started my MK day with whatever I plan to line up for a 9:00 in Fantasyland, but then it says I'll get there at 9:11. So there really isn't a way to make it precise for that I don't think. I put in my breakfast at 9:45ish and then the rest of the day from there should be pretty accurate.

Hmm, that's a good idea. I wonder if I try to put in a PPO BOG if that will work too. I'll have to play around with it a bit, and remove 7DMT, WTP, and PP from my rides list too for that day.

We're going to MVMCP towards the end of our trip, and prior to that all of our mornings we'll arrive at the parks at rope drop. Our plan is to sleep in late, and either go resort hopping at the Epcot hotels to see the decorations, go to DS, or play mini-golf. Kind of leaving it open so we can be refreshed and ready to party at MK that night!

Are you going to the 12/1 party? I can't remember!

We have a Boma breakfast scheduled for 12/2, so now I'm wondering if I should move it to 12/1, and then relax and swim? (Provided our room will be ready, though I'm thinking about choosing having our room ready ASAP, instead of any requests).

I'm going on 12/8 :)

I think Boma for Breakfast and relaxing is @Lisa F plan before the party :)

I just love the sounds of sleeping in, a great breakfast...relax, relax, relax....party, party, party!! Lots of great options on how to spend pre-party time though!! And now that you mention it, we might do Boma too! It's such a toss up, but it looks like we're going to have to choose Boma or The Wave. Coin toss I guess because I can't decide!!

Yes, and because we'll be staying at AKL, it's a no brainer. :)

I haven't done either! Both look great!

So, I've been starting our touring plans, and I've been wondering, does anyone know what the Comedy Warehouse Holiday Special is in Hollywood Studios? It's a tier 2 FP pick.

NVM: It runs the week of Christmas! Shoot, it looks like fun!
