***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I arrive on the 3rd too at Disney, LOL! I guess all of us would be up early next week! @Mintycake I think your ADRs look good. I have something similar planned but much more TS with a 2 year old in tow. My comment is on Dec 4 for Akershus, it might have to go on your first thing to look for. I plan for the same thing except not PPO. I've just read several threads from the Reservations boards that a lot of people have been having problems booking this for breakfast...

Not only am I going to be up with coffee at 6am on Sunday, but I have to do this solo. We are driving 3 hrs north that day (leaving at 8am) to be at my husband's family reunion party. I can sleep in the car but DH is driving and honestly he doesn't need to get stressed out about ADRs - I've got enough stress for two! Normally we'd go up on Saturday but because of where we are staying there is literally no internet. So I convinced DH that we HAD to stay home to do ADRs. Anyway so right when I'm finished we drive....navigating some serious road closures as well going to be an adventure for sure.

I think the list of priorities on my list are (in order of hard to get)
Akershus
BoG
Ohana
1900 Park Fare
Hollywood and Vine
50s prime time

I can always move Akershus to our Thursday Epcot day and then just have to chance the Anna and Elsa M&G at Rope drop on Tuesday.

@Mintycake I think your hardest is not Akershus, but rather BOG and 'Ohana. I would attempt the following:

I'm arriving late on the 2nd but I actually (Please no one hate me) am holding a dummy reservation from Dec 1 - Dec 8th at SSR with my DVC points so that I had a couple of days jump on the ADR thing and also because of my split stay. But it means up early on saturday which sucks! I want to do Ohana the night of my xmas party on the 8th and I'm afraid it would be all gone by the time I could reserve at 180+1 due to the split stay. Now I can reserve it at 180+7. Didn't have enough points to do the 8th and the 9th so anything there I will have to do at 180+1 or 2 but that's fine. Ohana is really the hardest to get thing I want to do. Crystal palace breakfast is another but its the day after the party and I was planning a 10ish breakfast which is not a super desirable time - I think only PPO is super hard to get.

I will be doing:
Tusker house breakfast (hoping to swap with RoL)
Yak and Yeti dinner
Sci Fi Dine in Lunch
CA grill dinner (5pm is not hard to get)
Ohana breakfast
H&V F! package with minnie's holiday dine (maybe hard?)
Cape May breakfast
Coral Reef CP (not released yet)
Garden Grill breakfast
Narcoossees dinner (again 5pm is not hard)
Kona breakfast (? maybe - this is an OOP breakfast on what may be MK, may be AK, may be resort day... will be very flexible that day - xmas party at night but not sure about during the day... maybe the wave even, I dunno!
Ohana dinner

I think the order does not matter much really except for Ohana dinner honestly. Nothing else I am doing seems hard to get!

Lol for a second I thought about it @Mintycake but I'm not sure I want to drop money right now especially when I'm not sure I'm going in December yet!

Well I had the points in my current use year to do it so it doesn't cost me anything. I used my remaining DVC points to make a reservation from dec 1-8 at saratoga springs (only resort where there is availability) so I can get the 180+10 window from Dec 1-8 giving me a couple of day head start on people checking on on saturday (sorry!)... since I am splitting my reservation I would not be able to get Ohana until 180 days exactly and by then everything good will be gone. If i had to lay out cash on a room reservation deposit I would not be doing that! I will cancel it when 180 days has passed for all reservations.

I actually have those points allocated to use on someone else's reservation... a VERY nice DISer used his Poly points to reserve my poly part of my stay before the 7 month window and I will make a reservation for him when he decides what he wants (sometime this summer). In the meantime... the points are just sitting there so why not?

Anyway I felt like there was pretty good availability for the most part. Based on the people in my thread I would say the hardest to get are 1) Akershus PPO (someone in our thread tried to secure this 6 days out into her reservation and was not able too) 2) BOG dinner. There also seems to be limited available for Minnie's Holiday Dine at Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic package. So you might want to put these at the top of ur list and the later in ur trip the better. With that being said I got Hollywood and vine (Minnie's and Disney Junior) CP, Ohana, CRT, BOG PPO, etc so don't be too worried.

Just a heads up, I was able to make a BOG dinner reservation today at 6am, but not for Akerhaus (anytime frame) for our trip. I was trying for 10 people, but did try to break into groups with still no luck. Not to say that it is harder to get, just my experience.

Thanks for the info. I have seen reports about people having difficulty with Akershus breakfast lately so I'm thinking that would be my priority for the first part of my stay. BOG and ohana is on my lost for the second part

I think it's June 6 (Monday). That's my arrival date too and it says June 6 on MDE. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

I think you guys are right. Check MDE - it gives you your date.
Has anyone seen any crowd calendars yet? I've only seen the one on Undercover Tourist for Dec 2016 and I'm not sure how accurate that is.
