Well it is going to be a bit chilly in general, here is a link to the monthly weather averages. http://www.weather.com/outlook/trav...limatology/monthly/graph/USFL0500?from=search

The Feature Pool is Closed for refurbishment from 1/8 -1/25/07 - The Pool Slide closed for refurbishment from 1/8 - 2/11/07

The resort provides daily activities for kids & adults with the best CMs of all the resorts.

Beyond the pool areas, they have miniature golf, exercise room, ping pong, bike rentals, The Green Cabin Room (bar/restaurant) has 2nd floor covered deck that has a fantastic view of the ocean and is a nice place to relax with your favorite beverage. It also has live entertainment in the evenings. Some nights they have a campfire / s’more roast (bring the Cutter Advanced to fend off the No-see-ums). Across the street they have a lake, picnic tables, nature trail, tennis courts, and basketball courts. Disney built a private tunnel under the road to access this area. And of course they have the ocean and great waves for boogy boarding. Everything from the ocean to the pool to your room is no more than 2 minutes away walking. So it is real easy to break up your day

Five minutes away is Pelican Island and a wildlife education center. Also minutes away is Sebastian Inlet were the Indian River meets the ocean. There are many good fishing spots around the inlet, and there are river excursions where you can see dolphins, manatee, and tons of other types of wildlife. About an hour away is Cape Canaveral, (where the Magic and Wonder dock), the Kennedy Space Center (with museums, tours, and shows), and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge with walking and driving tours.

Have a wonderful time :thumbsup2

SQUIDLIPS! :scared:

I don't know... I've never had squid before but, I just don't know... :sad2:

If you are in to aviation and planes you can take a tour at Piper...at least we did a few years ago. It was really cool (but DH is an aero engineer, so YMMV). Their web site is newpiper.com and I think we just sent an e-mail asking about tours.

My three children and I will be going to VB in June. Can anyone give me directions to these restaurants - Capt. Hiram's, Squid Lips, Ocean Grill? Also, what price range are they? Thanks!

Capt Hiram's was moderately priced and had good food. Kind of a noisy fun place for families. Ocean Grille was a bit more pricey, but we had a great meal there. Never was to Squid lips but I hear it's good family dining. pixiedust:
