Hello everyone I have already asked alot of silly questions but this is my first (of hopefully many) trip to DLP. January 2007
My flight does not arrive to late evening is there any time that we have to check in to our hotel by?
Could anyone tell me about times of the Disney parades and when the parks open and close?
I don't seem to be able to understand the brochure "breakfast at Disneyland park 1 hour before official park opening without a supplement," does this mean that we can have breakfast anywhere in the Disneyland Park or one particular cafe/resturant.
Things not to miss like shows and do i get a pack or information booklet on times etc on arrival?

My Children 10 and 11 don't know about the trip untill Christmas morning so this is how I am going to build up to the surprise.I am going to video it to have keep the excitement forever. It's quite hard to keep the secret. Hope they don't find this website before Christmas!!!!!
1st envelope with Euro
2nd A large French bagette wrapped up
3rd French berets wrapped up
4th Passports
6th DLP travel guides
and lastly an invitation to DLP

I am thinking about booking private transport but am worried if my plane is late or delayed will they wait for us?

If anyone knows of where i could get scrapbooking items at DLP i would be very grateful. My husband does not like shopping at the best of times.

Thanks for all the help it's really appreciated :surfweb:

You find alot of information on their website http://news.disneylandparis.co.uk/calendar/index.xhtml
Find the dates you are going, click "More" this will give you the opening times and the times of the all the parades and shows.

If you have booked the "Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast" you get into the park 1 hour early but the only land open is Fanstasyland. The breakfast is served in "Au Chalet de la Marionnette ". Once you have finshed breakfast some of the rides in Fantasyland will also have opened. I am not sure which rides open but I know that the Dumbo ride opens. If you want to do this ride I would suggest that this is the best time to do it as the queues later in the day get very long. Also, if you don't want to do the rides in Fantasyland then you can be first in the queue for the other lands when they open.

You will get a park guide/map when you get there but also alot of the information, show times, lengths of queue etc. on an info board in Central Plaza

Receptions are manned throughout the night so you can checkin at anytime :goodvibes

Well, they certainly should do!!! When you make your booking, they should take your flight number, and will keep an eye on it's progress to see when they need to arrived at the airport (I presume!!)

The free Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast is not a character breakfast, but it is a good way of getting in to the park early. Might be a good one to plan for any Saturdays or Sundays you are there - as weekends are usually busy and getting in in good time is helpful. Midweek days in January won't be crowded at all!!

Your Christmas surprise sounds wonderful!! :Pinkbounc

Sounds like a great idea and your kids will be so excited!! We are telling ours about this next trip on Christmas day too.
I would really recommend the character breakfast at Cafe Mickey, book the 7.30am one if you can bear it, means you can linger over breakfast then get to the park as it opens. Also the GMF breakfast is a great idea.
We are also going in January, as usual, please be aware that it is very very cold. As an example all the rivers and lakes when we were there last year were frozen solid. I would suggest thermals and proper ski gloves, my kids are smaller than yours and we put them in skisuits, as do the majority of the Europeans we saw there. It is magical, we had snow for a couple of days!! I don't know if you have experienced Winter on the continent before, if not it can surprise people how bitter it can be. Sorry if I'm teaching my granny to suck eggs here!!! Of course it is a great excuse to drink lots of yummy hot chocolate and have lots of warming hot toddies before bed ;-)
You'll have a fab time.
