We just got back from our first trip in 7 years and I'm SO happy to report it's still just as magical there as ever!!
I guess I was a little worried being on this board and hearing so many people complain about rude people down there and less than stellar CMs and perhaps hearing a little too much info that I was afraid in the 7 years since I had been there some stuff had happened (plus the economy/cut backs) and it wouldn't be as great but it was still amazing and I can't wait to go back in 7 months!!
I guess sometimes too much info can be a bad thing
I have to say I met some wonderful people, if people saw me and DH get on the bus with the boys we were always offered a seat (even though it wasn't expected) but thankfully we never had to accept since we travelled with my in laws who were usually already seated and we just sat them with them and DH and I stood. I even had people in line in the bathrooms allow me to go in front of them when they heard my 3 year old tell me again (and again and again) that he had to go potty (you knew those were people who were moms of children who waited until the last minute to tell them they had to go).
Can't wait to do it all over again!

but people weren't nearly as bad as I thought. I loved seeing the older kids talking to my 2 and 3 year olds on the bus asking them who their favorite character was and if this was their first trip and maybe it was just our attitudes being returned but everyone was pretty pleasant to us
I was shocked and horrified - still am to be honest. That moment still stands out in my mind - and yet I'm sure there were so many nice people we ran into that I couldn't recall at this point. It's a shame that the ugly stays with me for longer but there you have it.
