1st Trip Home ....

Just back from our first trip home. We own at SSR but decided to stay at BWV because the kids liked the picture of the pool. We had a GREAT time. Everything was GREAT. The room was clean and more than big enough for us. We stayed in a two bedroom. We bought the girls Pal Mickeys worth the money. Went to the MK Monday March 13th and to our suprise we where asked to be Grand Marshals for the Share a Dream Come True Parade My DH almost pee'd his pants and I had one of those cry at Disney moments. It was something that we will cherish forever. Did the Hoop Dee Doo and it was fun. We enjoyed the show very much. We also did Animal Kingdom, both water parks and Disney Quest. Had a great trip and can't wait to go back. Happy DVC owners

As a point of reference how far in advance did you book this stay at BWV? 7 months? Less? Thanks a lot. What were the exact dates of your stay and what room type did you book? I'm glad you had a great first trip. We love BWV also.

I booked the trip in September and stayed March 11-17 in a prefered view 2 bedroom room. We looked at a small pond with a view of the river where the boats go to MGM. Some view of the parking lot as well.... but that was fine because we where at Disney

Really, though....I'm glad to hear they had a good time...SSR stay or not. (They may be a happy owner staying at another resort, but I really don't want to turn this into another "who hates SSR thread") At least their purchase got them into BWV...for now

Thank you very much. This poster got a 2 bedroom at BWV at 6 months out in March! The sky isn't falling yet. Glad you had a great trip and thanks for the info.
