I'm making my first trip to Florida this year (April) with my wife and two daughters (age 9 & 7) traveling from the UK, I would love to have all your top 5 tips for us Virgins.

I will be =
Staying on Int drive.
Have no car.
5 day hopper plus for Disney.
14 day flexi pass for Universal.

Thankyou from a very cold England:grouphug:

Let me move this to the US/IOA Board for you. You should have more responses there.

I guess the number one thing I would recommend if at all possible would be to stay on site and take advantage of the transportation provided by Disney and being able to walk to the Universal parks since you have no car. Maybe do a Disney leg and then transfer hotels to a Universal hotel and get two full experiences if possible. Also, the front of the line pass you get at the Universal hotels makes the trip much more enjoyable. If this is your first trip, theres nothing like staying on site if possible.

The only other thing I can think of now is to take your time and have fun. You have so much to see that if you hurry through the Disney or Universal parks you will miss a lot and it will take away from the fun. Have a great trip.

Have fun and try to download the MIB hand book. You will become a pro by the time your trip gets here if you study that.

Hi and welcome
1st tip go to the I-Trolley site and request there free guide they deliver it free to the uk we got ours today
http://www.idriveresortarea.net/iride_trolley.htm
2nd tip plan a couple of rest days u will need them
3rd tip visit all the official sites as well for info on shows and attractions to help u plan in advance
4th tip pack lightly u will probably do a bit of shopping at the malls and u will need space in your case's
we did Orlando first time last year and also had no car we used the hotels free transport to get to the theme parks if u are planning a day at a Disney water park check at the TTC at Disney for where to get bus you will have a great time and with the net u can find out so much info before you arrive please ask any questions on this board no matter how silly they may seem theres always someone who has an answer or an opinion:wave2:

I can't imagine visiting for such a long time without a car.
I'd definately stay onsite at USF if that's the case. I know that many hotels on I-drive have shuttles, but they're not reliable.

The other tips I have are to arrive early to the parks. They open at 9am. You want to arrive the park around 8am, so you can be standing at a turnstyle first in line. Do this at IOA and you get a front seat ride on Hulk with no wait. Do it at USF and you get into the first show of Shrek with no wait.
