We are staying at a condo off-campus and I'm wondering what kind of traffic/commute we should count on in the mornings. We're traveling the 2nd week in Dec and we start on Monday. Thanks!!

We stayed last summer at he Blue Tree resort Lake Buena Vista and it really was not any difference in our travel from two exits to world dr. I found that much easier then navigating from the resort to the parks on site. The pretzling roads and exits turned me upside own and backwards all the time.
At Blue Tree, LBV I felt confident!
One or two traffic lights, enter the Hwy, exit 2 away onto world drive.

And I hate driving Orlando or Disney.

We are staying at Orbit One. Our first day I need to be at rope drop for DHS to get my little guy to Jedi Training sign ups. I'm so nervous we'll have to get up at 5 and be there 2 hours early due to traffic. Haha

Not to sound snarky, but have you looked at a map? It appears you are staying right off Sherberth Rd. which crosses Rt 530 and Sherberth pretty much dumps right into WDW property. IMHO, give yourself about 30 minutes at most to get to DHS, parked and to the gate. Most people then recommend getting to the gates about 30 minutes before official opening because they usually open early.

Thank you! I didn't think it sounded snarky at all, I was just asking because I've lived in some cities that had a 45 min pileup to get 2 miles and they didn't even have a major theme park! :D. Thank you for the estimate in minutes! That's what I was wanting to hear. :)

Sounds like driving in Los Angeles last week. The drive should not take more than 20 minutes at worst. Have fun. I love watching Jedi Training. Our kids are way too old.
