We have not been to Disney since FP. The way I understood what I have read is you get an hour window to return to the ride, but another FP for a different attraction can be obtained in the beginning of your windw of time. So-is it possible to obtain a FP for Thunder Mountain from 1:00-2:00 and get another FP at 1:01 to Splash Mountain before even riding Thunder Mountain? I am confused and guessing I am understanding this wrong-can anyone set me straight? :confused3

Yes, this is possible. It is usually a 5 minute window.

My FP would read "return time 1:00-2:00" and your next FP available at 1:05. Disney doesn't scan the fp when you finally use it for the ride, so they don't know if you've really used it or not.

Certainly! You are correct, just wait until your time that it says you may get another Fastpass for whatever you wish. Just the miracle of Fastpass in action. :wizard:

The reason it works is that Disney doesn't scan the fast passes when you enter, so the system doesn't have *proof* that you've actually used it. They assume, instead, that as soon as your window starts, you've ridden.
