1st time with a CC Cabana

We have a cabana in the family area for our upcoming cruise. Can anyone give us tips and advice to make sure we get the most out of our time on CC in our cabana. Thanks for the input!!!

Definitely get there early!! You get free snorkeling rental so do that! We had rain one of the days we had a cabana so we just got our lunch and ate in the cabana! Rain finished and we went back out-- a lot of people had gone back to the ship while it rained. We ordered some nice cocktails to have

Get there early. Take advantage of the snorkel equipment. Have lunch there, so peaceful! Nap in the hammock. Leave as late as possible! Enjoy!

For the free floats and snorkel stuff, will the gear be at our cabana or do we walk to the main beach to the hut? will the credit be on our KTTW?

I think we eat lunch at Cookies 2 (right?). We should just go through the buffet but instead of sitting at the picnic tables, we shoudl bring our trays back to cabana? How far is the walk? Close enough to run back to get ice cream?

Our cabana has free bottled water and soda, right? How do we order drinks? Can we get the DOTD? can we get our beer mugs refilled?

Snorkel first in the morning before the sand gets stirred up. But this is true cabana or not. Save the bicycle rental for the end of the day.

The floats will be there. For the bikes, we just showed the cabana wristband at the rental hut. I don't remember if the snorkeling stuff was at the cabana or if we just showed the wristband at the rental hut. Should be easy either way

There is a button in the cabana to press for drink service.

You have to pick up the snorkel equipment at the hut. There is a button to push when you need anything and a cabana host will come. They will call for a bartender if you need drinks. The walk to Cookies isn't very far.

The floats will be out in front of the cabana and the snorkel stuff you will have to walk to the hut area. The cabana wrist band will be all that you will need.

Cookies 2 is correct...and we have done both, picnic tables and brought it back to the cabana. The walk is not too far, definitely close enough to get some ice cream!

Cabana has free water and soda, fruit and nice cool towels in the fridge. To get drinks you just press a button and a bartender will come to you. I know that you can get the DOTD, not sure about the beer refills as we are not beer drinkers.

Last Summer, we picked up our snorkeling gear before we got on the golf cart to get to the cabana. They told us to head over and grab the stuff first.

They provide sunblock, so I wouldn't bother packing extra for day (unless you require special stuff)

Yes-pick up your snorkel gear before you get to the cabana-wristband is all you need. Forgot about that Captain's Mai Tai while sitting in that sand chair and dreaming about staying forever...

Drinks aren't included We always just add a tip to the KTTW slip if we feel that something above the normal 18% is needed.

Ok whew! Thought I had missed the most incredible perk!

The beach area FB is so nice, just a very small amount of people, its a perfect day, IMO.
Our grandkids have been on FB 2 other times, but last month they had the best time ever. They kept thanking us for getting a cabana for them for the day, LOL They spent the entire day in the sand and water digging and playing on the floats. They only left for a bike ride and lunch.
I guess they were too young to remember their other visits.
