We have booked a trip for Mid July 2004. I had never heard about character breakfasts before as this is our first time to WDW.

Is it possible to call in hopes of cancelations for any PS's??

depending on which character meals you are wanting you may be able to get in w/out too much of a problem. the only one that will be hard would be cinderella's breakfast and maybe chef mickey. give dining a call and see what it available!! good luck! http://allearsnet.com/din/cb.htm

If they interest you, definitely give it a shot. The number is 1407-WDW-DINE. While the prime times at the more popular ones may be booked, hopefully you could get an off time, or really luck out and get someones cancellation.
Good luck!

I'd definitely give them a call and see what's available, you might be surprised!

O'hana at the Polynesian resort has a character breakfast, a co-worker of mine has eaten there before and said it was really good, also I've heard that the Cape May character breakfast at the Beach Club resort doesn't fill up as much either, and it gets good reviews. The Crystal Palace in MK serves all 3 meals as character meals also, maybe there would be openings left. Can't hurt to call and ask!

Let us know what you find!

There's also the Garden Grill at Epcot. We got same week PS when we were there. Its a slowly rotating restaurant and there's farmer micky, chip, dale, and pluto. (There may be more I can't remember.) They have a family style all you can eat buffet (they bring the food to you) and a ice cream social in the afternoon. The characters are really funny. DH and my first time Pluto took the paper towels and wrapped them around my head. I got Mickey's autograph with a pic last time for authenticity.

These aren't breakfasts though, just other options.

I just have to give a plug for Crystal Palace! It is a beautiful restaurant and the food is great! We go for dinner, every time we visit the MK! ;)

CRT is ok. It all really depends on the ages of your kids, and their interests as to which restaurants you may want to visit.

Or try 1900 Park Fare at the GF. That one doesn't fill up as fast either, and the food is good.

Have fun!
