We're going to US/IOA on June 26th (arriving in the evening from WDW) till June 29th and staying at RPR. I have some of questions for you experts:

1. Which park is better to visit on Friday & Saturday?
2. We're getting the meal plan - is it worth it? I got it through AAA
3. What are good restaurants for families?
3. Will we be able to see everything at one day a park - please note that we're all coaster fanatics and this will be the first time that both of DDs will be able to ride (they are 8 & 10) since they are both over 52" tall

Thanks! :cool1:

1. i think either. they will both probably be equally full. i think ioa may be more full in the morning than in the late afternoon b/c many ppl have the one day two park pass and go to ioa in the morning and leave univesal for last.

2. i've never had the meal plan, but it seems worth it if you kno you will be there all day and if u like to eat lots of meals. if not i wouldn't get it. when i go i usually have lunch in the lost continent in the restaurant in front of dueling dragons, food seems to fill us up for awhile. and then have an icecream or snack at universal.usually its just a personal preference on your family's eating habits.

3. because the parks are open pretty late in the summer i think you will have enough time to do everything. i assume you mean one day one park? if you're doing both parks in one day it may be a little rushed and you should consider buying the express pass. i do reccomend doing the hulk first thing when you get there b/c that line tends to get VERY LOOONG. as does spiderman. most likely you will have to wait for every ride, but the water rides usually go by pretty quickely and dueling dragons usually does too.

anywho i hope i helped! have fun on your trip!

1). Both parks are busy in the summer...this is a coin toss. Since you're staying onsite, I wouldn't really worry about it.

2.) The Meal Plan is alright for fast food type meals. Your kids will probably make it worth while.

3.) I like Thunder Falls Terrace, Mythos and The Enchanted Oak at IOA and Louie's, Lombard's and Finnegan's at the Studios.

4.) Yes...you should be able to see everything in both parks in a couple of days...mainly because of staying onsite. The coasters are the best in town and you guys should love all of them. Make sure you ride BOTH sides of Dueling Dragons...both tracks are different. Also...Express Plus does NOT grant you front row access on Hulk or Dueling Dragons...you get to skip the stand-by line but not for the front row.
