Hi all! Long time reader first time poster! My wife, son and I are going to disney sept 8-14. This will be our first trip since 2004 when we went on our honeymoon. Was just wanting some input or suggestions on our fastpass choices we made.

5:50pm-Voyage of little mermaid
8:30pm-Star Tours

Tuesday sept 9:
10:55am-Buzz lightyear spin
12:25pm-7 dwarves mine
1:40pm- Peter pan flight

Wednesday sept 10:
10am-Soarin
11:10- Seas with nemo
12:10- Turtle talk

Thurs Sept 11:
9:20am-disney jr on stage
10:20am- Toy story mania
11:55am- Star tours

Fri Sept 12:
11:45am- Kilimanajro
2:50pm- Character meet
5:00pm-Kali river rapids

Sat Sept 13:

Then i have wishes and Electrical parade ones which im conflicted about. I really want to make sure I have good spots for my son to see (he is 5) Any input on this would be great!

I know there are better fp I could get but I know my son wont go on tower or terror or any real big roller coasters. Well thanks in advance guys and gals!

Congrats on your 10 yr anniversary & 1st family trip to WDW. Your FP+ selections look good. I didn't see Barnstormer @ MK, your son would enjoy it. Just check height requirement, I think 34". Any dining reservations?

There's a FP+ thread that would give you more insight on FP+ for Wishes & MSEP. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3143281

We used it in June for the FoF Parade, & it was worth having with DD6.

Happy planning! pixiedust:

DD's favorite spot to see Wishes and EP are from Dh's shoulders. Seriously, makes me choke up every time I see it! The first time we caught it, we were at the bottom of the stairs at the train station in the front of the park. DD was 6 and couldn't see, so DH hoisted her on up there (there was no one behind us). She LOVED it!!! The princesses all blew kisses to her up there and she was waving her little arm off! She was so excited!

Also, for the EP, don't forget to grab some glow in the dark necklaces/bracelets from michaels (dollar section) or the dollar store. I always bring a whole pack and let DD hand them out to kids around us - keeps her from asking us to buy her an overpriced light up toy that they bring out for the night time shows.

My only concern is about the rides and attractions that are typically fast loading with little wait, so...

I would possibly consider swapping out Voyage of Little Mermaid for one of the stunt shows...but that's probably something that depends on when you get there. I think typically, Mermaid waits are very light in the mornings.

Buzz Lightyear Spin is continuously loading, so it's typically a short wait early and late. I would strongly consider a Jungle Cruise FastPass instead.

Same with Seas of Nemo, but a second Group B in Epcot isn't easy, so it's probably fine the way you have it. Maybe Mission Space Green if your kid is up for it.

Everything else looks good to me for what your family needs to do includling the parade fastpasses (since it's your second day in the park).

Thank you very much for the recommendations!! Do you know how much tamer the "green" side is for mission space? Are you just sitting there watching the video and pushing the buttons?

Congrates...

Looks like your set, dont worry about what others feel. its all about you! Enjoy the magic!

It's more than just pushing buttons and might still be a little too intense for your child...or maybe you. I just know that it's another attraction that generally has a line build up at some point in the day, so a fastpass might be something to consider if you think you'll do it at all.
