Have wanted to cruise for years (have been reading this board for several months) and finally talked DH into a 4 night cruise August 22, 2004.

Can't decide between category 5 or 6. Can anyone tell me what the difference is and if it's worth the extra $$$ ?

Thought I read that if you were a first time Disney cruiser, there is a shipboard credit? If true, how do I get it?

Received quotes from several TA's and the lowest so far is $2846 for category 5 and $2746 for category 6 (three people). Is this a good price?

Is it better to be port or starboard (my DH is worried about seasickness so want whatever deck or location would be the most stable for him).

Thanks for the help.

You'll have a great time!
The only difference between a cat 5 & Cat 6 is location - cat 6 are on deck 7 & 5s are on 5 & 6.
Ask for code "REF" when booking for the credit.
The price sounds good.
As far as port or starboard, it won't make a difference as far as motion. Technically, low & center will be the most stable.
Have fun planning!:bounce:

... or shore excursions or gifts. We always book the inside staterooms and splurge on the excursions.

Have fun and welcome to the DIS family!
