1ST time cruiser - any suggerstions?

I am getting very psyched about my first cruise.

I am taking 3 young men, 1 - 19, 2- 20, so what is good for them to do?

Any suggestions, all are fairly athletic, 1 is painfully shy so anything to bring him out would be great!

One thing that is a good idea is to pick up the Disney passporter's guide...It has all the island excursions listed and ranked by how "active" the excursions are.

I just came back from the 7 day eastern 2 days ago...I did the mountain biking in St. Maarten, the hiking in St. John and kayaking in Castaway Cay...they were all awesome...

As far as being shy, I have a 15 year old daughter who I got to get on these boards and start "talking" with a lot of these people and learning as much as you can...

Try finding the thread that has your dated cruise on it and start meeting people you will be travellling with... this will help the shy one especiallly...just go on the board and say "Hi, My name is ?? and I am a 20 year old male...anyone else?" You'd be surprised how many will chime in...

We went on a DCL cruise last year without knowing about these boards and did fine...but 2 months before we sailed on our 2nd cruise, we found these boards and it was awesome...

Go to the sports deck. There is soccer, floor hockey, basketball, etc. They should be able to meet a lot of people that way. Check out excursions for the islands. There are rhino riders on St. Maarten they may really like.

I think I met you on the Mouse for less Chat on Sunday 8/1? On there I was ankletaper.

Your young men will have a great time on the cruise! The sport deck is always hopping. there are also lots of adult things to do at night so check the navigator. If you want to see a navigator, go to ********************** and you can see the activities that are going on.

If you have any more questions...Just ask!!

I just looked at a navigator from May at *****************, and there is a mixer on the first night for cruisers 18 to 25 years old. So if they go to that they will meet lots of great people!!
