We'll be going during Easter Week - Apr 9 - 15th and had a couple of questions.

Would we be better off going to a waterpark than a theme park on Easter Sunday - I know everyone says to avoid MK on Easter Sunday

What themepark/waterpark would you recommend?

We were at WDW the 3rd week of July last year - will the crowds be about the same or worse??

Just trying to get a feel as to what to expect.

thanks everyone

We have been to MGM, EPCOT, and AK -- any of them are fine for Easter Sunday. A few recommendations: make ps for meals asap; try and see the second showing of Spectro, Fantasmic -- they are less crowded; MK will be the most crowded from Noon-4:00; if you go to the waterparks get there by 10 AM.

I almost forgot -- it will be VERY crowded. I think Easter is the second/third most crowded week. We will be there at the same time. We have been there at Easter for the past 6 years.

Also, get your fastpasses early in the day. They often can run out by late morning.

We are also going Easter. I was thinking of doing MK extra magic hour on Easter Sunday and then a late breakfast at Crystal Palace. Then, we would leave and go to a different park.Do you think it will be overly crowded for extra magic hour?

I'm also planning to do MK on Easter. We'll be there all day. I think the first few hours should be fine.
