Hey folks... Needing some guidance. I've been to WDW before, but not with kids of any ages.

This trip will be Me and DH (Nana & Papa)
My 2 DD - 27 and 24
Grand DS - ages 8 and 5.5
Grand DD - age 2 yrs 2 mths

Need lots of advice... have no idea where things are like changing tables etc. Don't know that we will be potty trained in the next year and while I've been, I never notice kid things if they Grands aren't around lol.

Flying, rented a double stroller, planning for mornings, resort break, evenings for at least the baby. The oldest is a go getter so he may not want to leave.

We welcome any tips, advice, recommendations or whatever else ya'll got for us!

TIA :jumping1:

Changing stations are in every bathroom (mens included, from what I'm told). There's also a baby care station in every park, if needed. It's a calm, cool, quiet place, but I never needed it after age 2, so it probably won't be necessary for you. I would suggest getting a few ADR's that they might like - Chef Mickey's, Tusker House, Akershus, etc.

Your plan for a resort break is a good one - I need a break, so they usually love having one to swim (and the littlest and I nap in the hotel room).

If you're staying off property, consider renting a car. Off property buses are notoriously unreliable. If staying on property, research each resort carefully to make sure you get the one that most fits your needs and budget.

How fun!! We've done 3 generations BOTH WDW trips. Wouldn't have done it any other way. We always had separate rooms. Some meals (I'd say 80%) we planned together. Sometimes, Mom and Dad would ditch us. Other times, we'd ditch them. Really, it's about keeping it low key. When our youngest was 2, I took her back to nap every day. The on property buses make it easy. The double stroller was uber handy to either have 2 kids or 1 kid and lots o' bags. :o

One of the biggest life savers, both trips, was packing a small plane bag. Include a full change of clothes (both trips, one suitcase didn't make it and we were HAPPY for clean clothes), snacks, headphones and pen and paper. Classic pen/pencil and paper comes in handy when your plane experiences mechanical problems and you're stuck on the runway...for 2 hours. :headache:

Feel free to PM me! Mine were 5 and 2 the first trip, so I have a little insight. :upsidedow

My oldest daughter suffers from Bi-polar and manic anxiety. So splitting up really isn't an issue for about 90% of the trip. We are planning on the 2 moms/DD going to the Dark Side for a day to see H.P. while Papa and I hang out at the resort pool with the littles. Looking at this August; I'm hoping that we can plan the off day on the day MK has late EMH. This way once the mommas are back, papa and I can sneak away to MK.

I've been putting some things in a basket in my closet for the 2 older ones. We have books, paper, and tablets with headphones so far. I've already warned the momma's to put anything absolutely vital in their carry on luggage along with jammies, change of clothes and swim suits.

I am planning some TS meals in or near parks so we aren't traveling for those; plus to be able to meet characters at a meal versus standing in a line is ok with me lol...

Thanks for the offer Jinxed... I might send you a PM as we get closer.
