1st DVC Trip in 3 days...Have some Questions Please...

We will be going to BCV for our first ever DVC trip over Thanksgiving. I have a few questions:

1. Has anyone used grocery delivery? Any recommendations? Do you have the phone number?

2. Pizza Delivery? Can you recommend a good pizza place in case we need to order?

3. I saw a post regarding the mattresses...does anyone know of a great updated floor or room (we will have a 2 bedroom)?

4. Maid service...are there different levels? How much?

5. When I confirmed my ressie the other day, she asked if I had a preference for room placement? Any advice on this front?

6. Does BCV have the auto A/C shut-off. Does the Helium Balloon trick work?

I hope my dh likes the DVC...I had to convince him this was a good deal. I hope the room is nice enough.

4. Maid service...are there different levels? How much? You get a trash and towel service on day 4 and a full maid service on day 7 (I believe...check member website...you can get more frequent service if you need it for a fee...anlso on the member site)

6. Does BCV have the auto A/C shut-off. Does the Helium Balloon trick work? I do not know about the balloon trick
I hope my dh likes the DVC...I had to convince him this was a good deal. I hope the room is nice enough. (Yes the rooms are fine, the location is great, he will love the fridge...so get a few beers, and my DH likes the toaster for bagles and other snacks in the microwave-we always stay in a stuido)Thanks in advance...any advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Don't worry about the AC in November. If it does get uncomfortable, just call maintenance. We usually have problems because we need an almost frigid room for sleeping. In July, we called and they came up and did something and we were just fine! They warned us that it wasn't foolproof since it still had a shutoff on it but it was much better than in the past. We also always request an upper room and a park view -- more privacy. BCV is so small that I don't think there can be anything wrong with any room exept those that look at the housekeeping area. The Marketplace is wonderful. It's so easy to stop by and get beverages and gelato!!!! Nice breakfast sandwich too! Ooh, I wish we were able to stay there at Christmas but we go to OKW since it meets some of our other needs better. BCV is spring break!
