Any other 1st times Disney Cruisers cruising on the Fantasy 7 night Western Caribbean cruise leaving FL on November 28 2015?

We are still trying to decide what excursion to book. What are your families plans?

You may wish to look at individual cruise meet threads. Someone will probably post info about yours here.

But, the individual threads are generally useful to coordinate plans with other cruisers on the same cruise (such as the Fish Extender program, meeting up with each other). If it is your first cruise, I bet you'll get a lot more information on what excursions are good, what is Castaway Cay like, and so forth, on this board. It's kind of Disney Cruise central for questions about just about everything under the sun!!

Welcome to Disney cruising, and welcome to hundreds of posters here who have just about done it all and have a wealth of information (and opinions!).

We just got off the Fantasy yesterday---also a Western and our first cruise too! We absolutely loved it and cried when it was time to leave! We did the Fury Catamaran in Cozumel, the Dolphin encounter and turtle farm in Grand Cayman, and just spent some time in the port area in Falmouth. In Castaway Cay we did the stingrays and just spent every minute we could enjoying that beautiful beach. We saw Aladdin, Believe and Wishes...all wonderful but I have to say we liked Aladdin and Believe the most because of the Genie! Feel free to ask questions---as a first timer I really learned a lot from this board!

Annacali - I was on the same cruise with you! It was our first DC and we had a blast. In Cozumel, we went to Mister Sancho's Beach Resort (booked through Shore Excursioneer) which was like $30/person for all day on the beach, all you can eat/all you can drink. A GREAT day. Grand Cayman we did Stingray City, which was a bit windy/wavy that day but a great experience nonetheless. In Jamaica we ended up cancelling our horseback riding due to an injury to another person in our party, but we went to Doctor's Cave beach club and snorkeled/swam/beached for a few hours. It was nice, but overall I felt completely uneasy in Jamaica. People were not helpful and mostly rude, with the exception of the people at Biggs BBQ ....great service and DELICIOUS food.
